Fundamentals and discipline are lacking, that falls back on the coaching staff. Not to mention everyone in the stands knows what play is going to be called next. The old saying is if something is not broken, don't fix it....unfortunately that does not apply here. There is a lot broken with the green machine and it starts at the top.

The saying goes, "Everything rises and falls under leadership." Which is very true. As far as the coaching & team goes, "A house divided against itself cannot stand." When you have a few of the coaches undermining the head coach (or wanting all the glory for themselves), it won't work. Doesn't matter how good the coaching may be...until they become unified under the direction of a STRONG headcoach, it's like peeing against the wind. Same with the team, they need to come together, no big I's & little you's...that's why the movie 'Remembering The Titans' is inspiring...not talking about the black & white part of it (which is powerful in it's own right), but the principles of unity, teamwork, good sportsmanship, team spirit/pride, and strong leadership are all there. Maybe the coaches & team ought to sit aside some time and watch this movie together...couldn't hurt.

Maybe that is the coaching system we are supposed to have, maybe that is the way Webb and Buckland want it.To always have the green and gold losing.Maybe that's why they had Rick Cook escorted off the practice field, what was it to them if he jst wanted to help out????

What they need is another "Wild Bill", some fundamentals and a lot more old fashioned "bull in the ring"!

I think you all are right. But lets get down to the cold hard facts. The HEAD COACH is 70% of the prob. The other 30% is the PARENTS.Lowe couldn't coach a winning team if it was handed to him.And the parents wont let the kids be coached!!!!!!!!!!

Any coach that takes and plays the qurterback (the most important player in the game)on defence, that that is just one of the things that shows he dont know what in the hell he's doing.Do you think the coach for the eagles would do that and take a chanch of hurting Vick?

Agree with you about the parents not letting the kids be coached, but have to disagree about the qb playing defense shows he doesnt have a clue. The qb from christiansburg who signed with the hokies, also plays safety on defense.

Blaming coached is typical from people who have never coached and from people that played and thought they were great but truly sucked. These kids have no heart at all. I see 11 kids on the field and all but 1 just don't give it their all. The Robertson kid gives 150% every game. He needs help from the other 10 on the field. These kids just don't care. When you hear them laughing after a loss it shows their lack of concern. Another problem is watching the kids come to the fence to get coached by their daddys. Let the coaches coach and the kids play. Sit your tail in the stands and cheer and encourage and quit putting the program down!!!
Now that I agree with, let the kids play and the Dads sit in the stands where they belong, but after seeing grown men, jumping up and down and crying at little league games oh and lets not forget the kids on the field screaming at their teammates it was your fault that we didn't get that TD, you weren't guarding me etc, its a mute point, this is what we have to be proud of showing our kids the most important thing is to win, give it your all and if you don't win then try harder next time, because as long as its someone elses fault then sportsmanship is nothing we have to worry about, they do learn by example so be prepared the parents who are living their life through their children is something that will never change unless we stop it here.

Did the head coach even play where he was in high school or did he sit in the stands, its hard to tell, but if you only have 2 plays and everybody knows what they are then its time to get another play or two, and just because his Daddy is the brother or the coach that not a reason to put the child into the quaterback spot
