I think I am part of the reason for the previous negative comment of Nov 15. I bought the car that the reviewer missed out on. The Audi RS6 that I bought from Rami Suliman of Diamond Motorworks is EXCELLENT!! I had been following this car for a few weeks and made a side trip while on business to check out Diamond Motorworks personally. While my eyes were fixed on the Audi in question, I did take notice that the remaining inventory of automobiles seemed to be well maintained and were stored in a somewhat unconventional warehouse rather than a car lot.
I was not able to road test the Audi as it was in the middle of the warehouse but I did start it and run it for quite a while while performing a somewhat complete inspection. The detailing on the car was a 10. I could never clean that car as well as I saw it at Diamond Motorworks. Spotless - Really.
I spoke with Rami at length before putting down a cash deposit. Rami is pretty young but really into cars. Why else would he put up with the used car business.
I caught a flight back from Chicago Midway later that evening and returned home. My trip to Naperville was well worth it. Within two days I wired the money to Rami at DiamondMotorworks. Rami arranged transport for my car to NC. Within a few days the Audi arrived and was delivered at 11:00 pm - in the same condition as I saw it in Naperville.
I made the effort to visit and inspect the Audi before buying. After inspecting it - I was convinced that the car was worth the time, effort and cash.
If your nerves are not up to buying sight unseen - it's a 60 mile round trip from Midway to the garage in Naperville. All dealers - both local and internet cannot hold cars for too long while you arrange financing - especially in this economic climate and especially when they have other interested parties. Yes - I would buy another car from Diamond Motorworks. Period.

This cardealer is the worst I have ever seen.
The make promises that they do not keep!!
Please go buy your car somewhere else, with people you can TRUST.
Everything about this dealer is shabby.
Never said I did not warn you.

Rami Suleiman of Diamond Motorworks - Deception & Dishonesty

It's been almost a year since I had dealings with Rami and was amazed how slimy he was. My original negative reviews (and several others) have somehow been deleted so I'm reposting them now.. My personal OPINION. "Rami Suleiman has no integrity and cannot be trusted."

Rami Suleiman of Diamond Motorworks cannot be trusted.
Rami Suleiman does not keep his word.

When I chose to do business with Rami Suleiman of Diamond Motorworks, I did so because of all the positive feedback he got on eBay. Unfortunately, my experience was a very negative one. I first got involved with Rami while bidding on an Audi he had listed on eBay. I was the top bidder for this car when the item was delisted for some reason. When I called him to discuss, he said it had been removed for some technical reason.

To make a long story short, we discussed the car and agreed upon a price. Although he preferred to have the money wired immediately, I explained to him that I couldn’t wire it directly from my online savings and would have to transfer it to a checking account. We both understood that this would take 3-4 days and that he would take a credit card deposit to hold the car until Friday of that week. In the meantime, I spent hours of my time transferring money, researching warranty costs, listing my old car for sale, and arranging all else that would be needed for the sale. The entire time Rami acted as if he was holding the car and that, provided that I got him the money by Friday he would sell the car to me.

On the day of the sale, literally hours before I was to go to the bank, I got a pathetic e-mail that the “car has been sold…sorry”. Apparently, someone had bought it that morning. At no point did Rami call me to ask me to hurry the money. At no point did he give me the opportunity to counter bid. He just flat out went back on his word and sold the car to someone else. Even though the car was still on the lot, he wouldn’t cancel the sale because the other buyer was local and he “didn’t want the guy coming in and making a seen.” Essentially, he was OK screwing a remote buyer because I couldn’t complain as much.

Do not trust your business with Rami Suleiman, especially if you are a out of town buyer. If another person sees your car and offers to buy it, Rami will negate your sale.

I didn’t see any negative feedback for him, so I was less cautious than I should have been. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

My father bought a BMW Z4 Roadster from Rami last month. The car is awesome - in better condition than Rami represented - flawless, very clean and better than expected. The mileage was exactly as represented. Rami was very professional. The transaction was flawless - everything from deposit to payment and title - everything went smoothly and quickly. Based on this first transaction with Rami, our family will definitely consider doing business with him again. He sold my father an outstanding car in near mint condition for a very reasonable price - we couldn't ask for more.

Imported a BMW X5 4.4 from the States to Canada about a year ago. I bought the car sight unseen and didn't have a third party inspector to inspect the car before purchase. I do recommend buyers to hire an outside inspector, especially if you can't physically check the vehicle yourself. Lucky enough, i picked the right dealer to purchase from as Rami has provided me with exceptional service and a transaction that I could have been screwed over in many ways.
Long story short, I'm lucky to have dealt with Diamond Motorworks and Rami as I got my vehicle just as described and a great deal on it. I hear a lot of horrour stories about people purchasing over the internet and shady dealerships running away with the money, I'm really glad I purchased from Rami and would recommend them to anyone. I'll probably import another vehicle from them within the next year.

I bought a 2004 G35 Infiniti 6MT which I have had for some 2-3 months now. Rami Kept his word at everything we addressed. I bought the car sight unseen and it was a very nice purchase. We had found a couple things that we were not aware of on the vehicle and Rami quickly and fairly resolved them to my complete satisfaction.

I bought a 1999 3000GT in Oct 2009. I had only seen pictures of the car on his website. He had me wire a down payment on the car to hold it and I flew up to get the car the next day. Overall I am satisfied with the way things worked out. Just be sure to point out every flaw on the car because hes not very easy on coming down on is prices. Also check for paint jobs on the car. he had the rear bumper sprayed prior to putting it for sale and it was a horrible job. But like I said overall it was a good experience.

I recieved my 07 Z4 BMW today. It was perfect! As described! Rami even discounted me 100 bucks off the shipping cause that was the true cost at the time. It appears this other guy on this page has an axe to grind and is non specific about his complants. If I were that unhappy with Diamonds performance I would at least give some details or explainations. The complainer probally did loose that Audi cause nobody would lend him the money. He is probally bad mouthing the bank as well. I will shop again at Diamond when I upgrade. Thanks Rami for a mint z4 under trade!!! You guys rock!!

Rami Sulieman of Diamond Motorworks is a Total Scam Artist!!! I saw he had a nice 2001 Lotus Esprit Twin Turbo on Ebay and I really wanted it. The pics were beautiful and it only had 9,000 miles on it. I offered $45,000 for it and he said ok. So I sent a wire transer right away. When I finally got the car it looked old and the paint was not very good. This should be a show room vehicle with this mileage btw. I am a used car dealer in Washington DC and I took it to the local Rockville Maryland Lotus dealer to check it out before I sell it to any of my customers.(I refuse to sell bad cars). The service manager called me back and said everything was ok but did I know that the car was originally Caribbean Blue? I was shocked! I knew right there I lost 10k-15k. A color change on a Honda civic is not a big deal. But on a $45k Lotus Twin Turbo is it a VERY big deal. He totally lied to me and after I told him I would sue him he agreed to buy it back for $39,500. I knew I would win in court but he had my money. So it would be tied up for a year I am certain. I decided to take a loss and get my money back. When I showed the vehicle to the detailer he spotted blue paint showing in every section of the car. The black paint wasn't even done very well. This was not the car I saw in the photos. Rami apparently bought it from a man in Texas and never had it at his lot until I sent him the money. He used photos of another Lotus. He does lots of consignment sales where he never sees any of the cars. But according to his website the vehicles are all inside his warehouse. I looked at the paperwork that was in the owners manual and saw the previous owner took it to a shop and found out the same thing. So he quickly dumped the car. He was lucky I didn't see the car before I bought it. The black paint was so rough. It looked worse then a MAACO job. How can you paint this way on a Lotus? Bottom line this guy is a dirt bag. He is a total pathological liar. Do not give him your money. You will regret it. I was fooled because I looked at his great feedback on Ebay. I didn't buy it on Ebay unfortunately. I bought it outside and suffered because of it. Rami Sulieman is a snake do not trust him like I did. Apparently he screwed alot of people over. I saw many reports about his dealings online. But he is such a snake and he is removing the reports on various "consumer protection" websites.

Ok, I'm a newbie here and a newbie to the Lotus world. I just want to share with you all my terrible experience with Rami Suleiman of Diamond Motorworks in Nappersville Illinois. Delivery of the 04 Esprit delayed due to a dent in the rear bumper metal undertray thing around the exhaust pipes. Several days later, they claim it's as good as new, and ready for delivery. So then, the car comes many days later, and instead of arriving around midnight, due to some other problems, it arrived at 7 in the morning. The car was filthy. Honestly, one of the dirtiest cars I have ever seen, and definitely the dirtiest sports car I've ever seen. There were also several oher minor problems as well. A few rock chips that the dealer never specified or photographed. The hood also does not close properly, and is eleveated noticabley on one side. The passenger winow is not sealing properly and leaks a little. The carpet and floor matts appear very dirty and stained...definitely doesn't sound like the garage kept Esprit that was promised. Then, to top it off, after spending several hours washing and waxing it, we decide to go to the DMV and get a license plate for it. As fate would have it, the dealer never properly took title from whoever traded it in, and therefore our attempt at getting a tag for the car was rejected. So now, after several weeks of delays, there lies a Lotus in the driveway that has been paid for and has an invalid title with no license plate and cannot be driven...o yea, I forgot to mention a nail in the back right tire. As soon as the truck driver got it off the truck, he pointed out the low pressure gauge noted that there was only 9psi in that tire. Sure enough, a nail is in it. Also, there are more miles on the car than advertised...kinda makes me wonder how it was driven if Diamond Motorworks never registered it in the State of Illinois, so how are there mystery miles on the car? I have to overnight him the title tomorrow, and once he receives he he must assign us the title, correctly, and then send it back with temporary tags. It just makes me wonder how a dealer can mishandle paper work, incorrectly represent the car, and deny so much of their own wrong doing. Soooo, despite all the great feedback I read about Diamond Motorworks in Nappersville Illinois, be careful! Hopefully we'll get the title straigtened out soon, since insurance has already been paid on the car for 2 weeks! I'll try to get sum pictures up asap though.

Overall a satisfying purchase from Rami Suleiman. Purchased a Black C6 coupe from Rami at Diamond Motorworks. Initially had a few concerns however they were quickly addressed and handled professionally by Rami. I will also say that the transaction and shipping of the vehicle did go very smoothly. Would do business with him again.

If you check some cars with autocheck instead of carfax, some will come up as "salvage, duplicate title" in autocheck. Be very careful.

We will never advertise a vehicle to have a clean title, if it is a SALVAGE title. A salvage title will always show both in Carfax and Autocheck, however sometimes "accident indicators" may show in one source but, not the other. There is a huge difference between a SALVAGE title, and an "accident indicator". Duplicate title's are obtained sometimes, simply because a title was lost and a duplicate was ordered from the state, nothing to be worried about. We also suggest our customers check autocheck as well. Thank you.

I have had a very good buying experience from Diamondworks. I purchased a 2008 BMW 535i. The car was exactly as described on cars.com , had a clean history and no hidden problems. I got it for a very good price and the purchase experience was very easy and quick. Every request I had was handled professionally and correctly. I recommend this dealership for great prices, excellent choice of cars, indoor showroom and spotless detailing and for professional and quick sales process. 5 stars.

I purchased a Dodge Viper SRT-10 from Diamond Motorworks and the whole process was professional, painless and straight forward. Before coming in to view the Viper, I checked out their website and knew exactly what to expect, and I was right. The car was exactly as advertised. Rami Suleiman, the owner, personally showed me the car and was very courteous and respectful. When I asked for a test drive, he naturally was a little apprehensive to let me drive the car without verifying my serious intent to purchase it, but that's understandable, there are a lot of bozos out there that just want to test drive dealership's sports cars only for a joyride. The price was amazing, and there's a reason why they have set fixed prices. No annoying haggling, just a straight forward and honest deal. Thanks guys, I'll be back, and keep up the good work!

I have purchased 5 cars from Rami in the past 7 years and keep coming back to him when I am ready for a new addition to the garage. I have bought an X5, Toyota Supra, and Porsche Turbos from Rami. All of which have been as described. I am very please with him and his dealership as I have had very good experiences with him. I will be in the market fairly soon for another car and will give him a call. As for some of the negative dealings you got to take into account he does deal with a lot of bs calls and people who promise to send money and don't and etc. If the the money is right in front of you and another guy your dealing with is messing around, you got to take the money in front of you. I have had great experiences with Rami and been dealing with him for over 7 years. Hard to find honest people in the car business but he is the one.

A few years back I purchased an BMW M5 from Rami and i couldn't be more please with the purchase. The car was actually in better condition then listed. He answered every question i had without hesitation. A few years later i chose to get rid of the car so i called Rami. He actually bought it back at a very good price. To this day i recommend friends and family to Diamond Motorworks.

Rami is great to deal with. I HATE car dealers where they try to hagle on price, and Rami is no pressure, very cut and dry. I purchased a 2007 Mercedes Benz CLK 500 and it has been just wonderful. I drove down from Madison and it was well worth the trip. I will be buying from Rami again.
