It's given, Carl Churolo will be in, way too much support. Question is who will be left out???
My money is on Richards, too weak.

I won't count on Chief winning yet. He has his own issues to answer for.

Send Chavez' ass to the scrap yard. Give him some more time to coach baseball and football. Given the state of those programs, he doesn't do much good there either!

Hey Chief how is that pay roll at the Lemont Fire Protection District. A little top heavy there. Darn the truth!

It seems that once a strong candidate enters the arena the childish mud slinging begins. Grow Up !

Carl is not really running against anyone so to speak. He is just running for a spot. He has not spoken one bad word regarding any of the trustees as far as I know. I imagine it is more because of Dewald than anyone else. For the commenter on the payroll; what should a fire chief make that would be ok with you? A man that has dedicated his life to the protection of others? Just asking.

Poor Dave, he is probably crying in to his pillow right about now.
He will be fine, new and exciting job will keep him busy.
John and Dave enjoy you retirement from politics.

Dave Richards is one of the nicest and most honest people I know. Why is he being targeted? So is Brian Clancey. They work tirelessly on behalf of the village. Brian has lived here almost his entire life. He loves this town more than anyone I know and I am personally honored to have him as a trustee. Chavez I don't know very well so I can't comment on him.

Hopefully Carl has learned how to stay within a budget. As he couldn't when he was Chief of RFD.

Somebody doesn't know what they are talking about or they are jealous becasue they can't make the little money a Fire Fighter makes saving the public's butt on a daily basis, the pay is not what most of you think that's why they have to work two jobs. If you must know the Chief left Romeoville after 20 plus years because did not get support from the board at that time. He was there every day at 6:00am and stayed to at least 5:00pm and back at night for meetings. That's a lot more than can be said about the Chief they have today, who comes in 9:00am and leaves at 5:00pm providing he stays in the office. So before you start to spout off about soemthing you have no idea about I would suggest you do some research.

P.S. The budget did not get over spent he bought the top of the line equipment that saved a lot of lives and saved many homes from being destroyed by fire. Take that to the Bank.

I worked in a position right under Carl at RFD, and I was at his so called end of the station. Guys didn't even want to go down there. Yes he did go over budget many times. As long as the equipment looked pretty leaving the station everything was fine. Make sure it got chromed before anyone sees it was his motto.

I also worked under him but NEVER found him to be like that. He was always too busy insuring that the Department had things to respond with never worrying about chrome! WYH did you come up with that crap? Give him credit for what he accomplished already cry baby!

How near was your office to his. Mine was real close. No crying here just stated facts that most do not know. Or were you one of the brown nosers. That always whined about others or stab them in the back.
