Census: Cape losing population
Erica Fish and her husband moved away from Cape Cod for their son's future. "There was the fear that our son would grow up on the Cape, love it, but then be forced to leave because there was even less opportunity for the next generation," she said Tuesday, speaking on the phone from Rock Hill, S.C., where the family moved in 2008.

I and a couple other people moved to Provincetown after the census was taken and absolutely love it! I think that lower population is a good thing especially for the environment because in summer the population goes up 40 to 60 thousand people! We need the break after the summer season...
