Give me a break...nothing is going to happen this far inland...it will be nothing more than a rainy windy few hours...if you live right on the beach you may be in for a wild ride but around here any extra prep is a waste of time...all we should be bracing for is some type of hurricane surcharge on next months bill to pay for all this needless overtime.

Guess what it Earl will be a tropical storm by tonight it won't even be a hurricane.

WHY are they "prepared"? Maybe because there is now a law that would force all utilities to react within a window of time or they will PAY the price. Oh that's right, the LAW is a named after UNITIL because they were so pathetic and set an example of how bad a utility company can be.

What good is a reaction policy? That means after another major power outage they have to act faster to repair a poorly maintained infrastructure that will still succumb to heavy damages and leave us without power for days while paying extremely high utility bills?
What a joke especially watching our local leaders - Unitil hug feast on TV a few weeks ago.
Ladies and Gentlemen whats really needed is a robust maintenance, upgrade and repair program and that has not even begun to happen and never will until these clowns are driven out of town!
