Amid yacht flap, senator's credibility takes on water

There are 14 comments on the Lowell Sun story from Jul 30, 2010, titled Amid yacht flap, senator's credibility takes on water. In it, Lowell Sun reports that:

Who would have thought the day would come when U.S. Sen. John Kerry would be running away from television cameras instead of running toward them? Yet that is what happened as Kerry, acting more like a fugitive than a senator these past several days, hastily got away from reporters who wanted to question him about his new $7 million luxury yacht ...

Lurch just loves TV cameras until he's in trouble. Then he says "get me out of here".

If it weren't for his many treasonous acts, his lying to Congress about soldiers while under oath, his many socialist votes,- he'd just be another sad case of a wannabe president.

But we think of his fake PHs, his early exit from Vietnam [with movie camera], his trip to meet with the NVA in Paris, his years of anti-war activism with Jane #onda, his courting and marrying a rich woman, then cheating on her with Hollywood starlets, his courting of the very rich widow Theresa, his choice [unvetted] of Fluffball John Edwards as a running mate, his flip-flops on almost every issue depending on the latest opinion polls,- what are we left with but a self-centered lying traitorous wannabe president trying to make his own Camelot? He bought the boat so he could sail off Cape Cod like JFK.

By now he could have been retired and Jeff Beatty would be our Senior Senator. Massachusetts, WHEN will you wake up?!?

I think he was docking the boat in Newport looking for new friends,- because he's running out of friends here.

Every morning he checks the Seattle news to see if ~ maybe ~ Bill Gates died overnight.

Liveshot Kerry got lucky last election with all the anti-Bush stuff. C'mon, there was no way a Democrat in this state was going to lose last election, even though I was hopeful(I did vote for Beatty). Lurch won't be so fortunate next time around.

Kerry typifies a politican who gets re-elected to office over and over again. With each re-election the arrogance grows. Kerry has been in office since 1985! Massachusetts voters have had many opportunties to rid themselves of this charlatan yet have chose to keep him in office. I doubt that our founding fathers contemplated career politicans walking the halls of Congress for 25 plus years.

Kerry should be the poster child for Term Limits.

ANOTHER OBAMA LIE

In his widely watched nomination acceptance speech, Barack Obama said "I will cut taxes-cut taxes for 95 percent of all working families, because, in an economy like this, the last thing we should do is raise taxes on the middle class -- not your income taxes, not your payroll taxes, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes."

Obama and his democratic henchmen in congress are now proposing to let the so-called Bush tax cuts expire. Those who believe that only those making over $250,000 a year will be affected are in for a rude awakening. A recent study by the non-partisan Joint Committee on Taxation has determined that the lowest tax rate will bounce back from the current 10% to 15%, resulting in 88 million taxpayers paying an average of $503 more per year in income taxes; the reduction in the child tax credit from $1000 to $500 will affect 31 million taxpayers to the tune of $1,033 each; and return of the marriage penalty tax will cost 35 million couples approximately $595 each. In addition, taxes on interest, dividends and capital gains will increase substantially.

Obama's smoke and mirrors show rolls on. Get ready to open your wallets.

THANK YOU for your comments and the accurate reporting of the facts. You seem to be one of the few Lowell Sun readers who understand that the expiration of the Bush tax cuts means higer taxes for EVERYONE. The current six tax brackets of 10%, 15%, 25%, 28%, 33% and 35% will be replaced by five new brackets with the higher rates of 15%, 28%, 31%, 36% and 39.6%. Some readers so hate former President Bush and so resent the the "rich" that they do not comprehend that the Bush tax cuts helped all income levels. Congress has until December 31 to act. But this is the same Congress that has created the largest US debt in the history of the world ...$13 trillion. That is the size of the entire US economy. Congress is in feeding frenzy with the power that a big expanded government provides them. Does anyone think they will pass up the opportunity for more revenue to feed their addiction?

Kerry has always been a dirtbag.
To get the poor to vote for him. He yells "punish the rich, raise thier taxes" but he is rich, and dodges his taxes.
To the Enviro's he says "To save the earth, we need an addional $1.00 tax on each gallon of gas" He rides around in a boat that burns 50 gallons an hour, and a private lear that burns even more fuel.
To the union guys he screams" The companies are exporting your jobs overseas, we must stop the evil republicans that support them." He builds his sewven million dollar boat in New Zeland to save a few bucks.
The problem is in the next election, the poor, enviro's and union guys will all fall for it and he will be reelected.

What hurts is you are right. The blindered liberal lemmings will stand there and sharpen the freaking ax the taxaholic libtard democrats will use to cut their freaking legs off. Don't these idiots understand that our buying power has decreased over 35% since the kenyan emperor and his mindless minions have taken over and began re-distributing the "wealth"? They won't be happy until they turn this once great nation into another Somalia. And they will get plenty of help at the pols from all the drones who hear nothing but the marching orders of the dunces running the dummycrat party.

But, it is only a 3 hour tour.

This is a tale about a John Kerry.
Out looking for a rich woman to marry.

This is a tale about a John Kerry.
He started his career searching for congress seat.

In the fifth district he found defeat.

This is a tale about a John Kerry.
After looking around he felt like a loser and a loner.

So he became a Lt. Governor.

This is a tale about a John Kerry.
Tsongas began to feel ill and will have to give up his seat.

Pick me, pick me for the senate, it would be a treat.

This is a tale about a John Kerry.
By god a rich Massachusetts resident.

Why, wasn't he knighted as a president.

Now he is on a three hour tour.

He was feeling glad he didn't have to pay taxes, like those people who he is helping making poor.

Why is he a Senator? What a poor excuse of a person. I remember when he through pigs blood on the capital steps while we still had young soldiers dieing in Vietnam. Thought he was a loser then and he is still proving he is a loser now. Some things never change (unfortunately).

Hope he never runs again.
