Man charged in abduction try

Police allege in arrest records that Keith R. Coote, 35, attempted to abduct the girl, a third-grade student at State Street Elementary School, at a school bus stop on Church and Price streets in Edwardsville.

Keith Coote is NOT GUILTY of what he is being accused of! Keith is one of those cases of a young, black male who went from a man who made the wrong choices in his past, learned from his mistakes, matured, married, became a father, worked and wants a better life for his son so he recently moved to PA. Anyone looking at the facts from ANY angle can see how NONE of this makes sense! The video of him SOBBING and PLEADING for ANYONE to help him because he did not do this, is coming from a black man who fears that being accused of a heinous crime endangering a child when he was the one to call the police initially, and knowing that because of a couple of priors in his past and now in a predominantly white neighborhood, he's fearing what the out come will be. He is a child hood friend of mine and my daughter regfers to him as "Uncle Keith" and he is welcomed in my home anytime and will always be welcomed around my child. Don't judge a book by his cover!!!

I agree Kieth is a very close Friend of the Family and Best Friends with my cousin I have two small children and would have him around all day everyday. Just because he is a black man originally from NY with a past don't make him a child abductor.. The police need to step up there game and catch the guilty man not the black man. They say if you see something say something and call 911, but when you do look what happens an innocent man goes to jail.
