The owner of this dog may be on these very threads looking for the one you found. They are missing a Chihuahua, and it's also posted in the Nancy threads under:
"Lost dog".
<QUOTED> "I am a chocolate chihuahua with tan and white markings and I need to find my way home! I live at 303 Holmes Ave in Somerset. If you find me please take me home or post so my owner can come get me!"

I DO pray that this is your dog!! Let us know!!!

Update: Still haven't found his owners. He was in very bad shape when we found him. He was dehydrated and Malnourished and had a terrible cold from being outside in the frezzing rain. He is doing great with lots of food, water and a trip to the vet where he recieved much needed antibiotics and tick treatment (our treat, will NOT have to be paid back, so please don't be afraid to claim him if he is yours). He is old but still has lots of spunk in him. I know his owners are out there somewhere as you can tell that he is a very loving attention seeking lap dog. This tells me that he was someones loved pet. He obviously has been missing for sometime, so his owners may not be looking for him any longer and think that he is dead. Please spread the word everyone so that he can get back home.
He is an older male teacup Chihuahua with white/gray hair on his face and white/gray stripe down his back. VERY loving.

I lost a weiner dog in Oct. He was very old, red w/ grey on his face and paws. He was lost at the Beech Grove Rd. area. We looked for him for wks. but he could not have withstood the cold weather unless someone took him in. Also, lost a mountain cur last week, white with brindle, looked like a boxer. He was 6 mo. old and weighed about 50 lbs. No collar. If you have seen either..please respond. Cuyotes are bad and we have lost numerous dogs the past yrs.

Sorry, I wish I could help.
It is hard losing a pet. My neighbor called our jack russell over to him then called the animal shelter to report a stray. She had a collar on and is fat as a pig so they knew he was lying. They took her and she ended up in Indiana. We had to drive 10 hours (both ways) and pay what I called a ransom fee of $175.00 to get her back. They are taking dogs that look to be full blooded and then selling them to other areas to sell as full blooded breeder dogs with no papers. If you lose a dog do not just expect them to be honest on the phone. Also, do not expect it to be put on the web site until it has already been adopted. They are deceptive. Go by the shelter every day and look around in their kennels. By the way even if a dog has a name tag, they do not call the owners on the tag. They say that it is not their job. So do not expect them to call you if they do find your loved pet.
Good luck in your search. Hope you find them.
