Do you have a history site for Hoboken? My grandfather was one of the first settlers. He was William Ambrose Martin. Reply please [email protected]

I was just reading my History of Pierce County book when I noticed your message I looked in it and it showed Hoboken, located in Pierce county in 1880, had a population of 63 at that time. I checked the index for a William Ambrose Martin, but all it had was William A. Martin on pg 321, that referenced a terrible wreck of the Fast Mail Train from Savannah to Jacksonville on March 17, 1888. The train went through a trestle, 37 feet high, over Little Satilla, one and a quarter miles east of Blackshear, Ga. The list of killed and wounded of the disastrous accident.
"The killed are: William A. Martin of the Union News Company
Do not know if this could be in reference to the Martin that you are looking for, I am new to all this.
