We moved our business in March 2011, and we are finally getting all the kinks worked out. We have rolled out a new business services, selling excess groceries reclaimed from the major stores.
The owner and his new business partner have gained a lot of popularity from local people. There are racks of food that are clean & organized for their customers. The food is bought by the pallet and truckload and brought to Myrtle Creek. The crew then goes through the merchandise and makes sure there are no holes, or things that are not able to be sold. This food is from shelf pulls, dings and dents, excess, and some food that is beyond the best buy dates. Matt and the crew pays close attention and abides by all laws and rules pertaining the sell of this type of groceries. Also, he accepts the Oregon Trail.
They still offer shipping your way through postal services, UPS, and FedEx. There are stamps, packing material, office supplies, and more. They can even pack your package. It is a great place for christmas.
This is fast becoming a convenience store for this small area of Myrtle Creek, and surrounding areas. They are adding more services all the time. The have convenient hours of 9-6 during the week, and saturdays 10-2.
They also do alot with the local food banks, including donating much of their own money and merchandise. You can also donate there, any sealed merchandise (within a year of expiration please), money, and buy it at Goin Postal and leave it there for the local food banks.
They are located at 729 S Main St, Myrtle Creek, OR. Across the street from NAPA, and next door to the Tire Factory.
Check them out! It is worth the trip!
