Most people are familiar with this story..the school teacher is tried in court for teaching that evolution is a sound theory. Though the setting is in the 20's there are some religious oriented people today who can't see any validity in evolution even though it is being reinforced with physical evidence more as time goes by. The old "my ideas have to be correct because I accept them totally cause I have faith" is blatantly evident in this play. Any verbalization of a different belief is opening the door to anger and ostracism in a group of zealots or fanatics. 1920 or 2006...makes little difference.

Although some people make me think of evolution, no way or there would be constant evolution, which there is not.you can find a snails shell thousands of years old, you can find the same kind of shell today.
