Oh yeah, those kangaroos are ferocious man eaters.
|
Even if it didn't want to eat her brains, it could have done more damage to the poor old woman had the dog not been there, right? I am just speculating, I know d*ck about Kangaroos. I wouldn't hesitate to punch one in the mouth though... |

Yes it could have. Their 'talons' are unbelievable; tails amazingly thick. I have them on my property all the time - luckily ours keep their distance! Here's a link to two fighting each other - she is very, very lucky and should buy a Tattslotto ticket. http://www.youtube.com/watch... |

Funny. You'd have some problems getting them to stay still for your punch, but there used to be organised boxing bouts with roos back in the day. Yeh, a big roo could damage an ol' dear quite easily. It sounds like all the damage came from the fall. |

1 The biggest roo that hangs around my house gets called "torn ear" he is built like arnie swazaneger, I had a broken leg once and he thought he could have a go, but the 2 crutches scared him off. One night after a few beers (maybe more than a few) I went out side to water the lemon tree, while I was out there I herd the normal sounds of roos eating grass, but this one time It sounded like there was a giant roo eating right near me. It sounded twice as loud and was eating lots more grass in one bite from the ground. I thought to my self crickey he must be giant so I stagered in to get the spot light only to find "Harry the pony". LOL he sounded like a mega roo. |

1 He was on the front lawn when I went to work and when I got home he was in the same spot. So I went down to investigate and sure enough he had some very thin rope/cord tied around 1 foot. After I untied it (with the help of my wife) and let him go ,he couldn't jump away. So I recaught him and put him in a pillow case waitng for animal rescue to arive. For a little 3 1/2 footer not long out of the pouch, He sure fired up. He will go to healsville sanctury for x-rays and rehab, then brought back here to his mob. I would punch the idiot who left that cord around for that to happen if I knew who it was. |

That's good. We have kangaroos near my home too, but luckily none have been injured. |

1 So, they're like that cartoon kangaroo that would wearing boxing gloves and jump around punching the opponent? Who would have thought Warner Bros. was somewhat acurate? I'm glad the lady is doing okay. Oh, and I'm just imagining all of you guys with accents, and it's cracking me up inside. |

Shame what happened to the oldie, but this post from you ngali, takes me back to my childhood...w/an old Looney Tune bit. Sylvester thought the kangaroo was a giant, king-sized mouse. He escaped from the circus or the zoo & was complete with boxing gloves. So freaking funny & I remember watching it like it was yesterday. |
