I Too have a Dream

Presently, this is the conclusion to my unpublised manuscript.
This is the first of two parts, and it was written during the summer and early fall of 2007.
I TOO HAVE A DREAM!
What will tomorrow bring? Where we have been heading may be clearly seen today, and hopefully we will change for the better.
While nuclear annihilation with the Soviet Union has become a thing of the past, the ecology of this whole planet has reached a very critical state, and still the politicians in Washington pay so very little attention to it.
The war in Iraq and Afghanistan were Administrative blunders from the very beginning; and I should worry about Iran making a nuclear bomb in 6 or 7 years, when the now deposed Soviet Union had literally thousands of them in the recent past, all with America's name imprinted on them?
I just turned 65 years old, and I have a dream of what the future may well be like, and it goes a little bit like this:
I dream of health care being made available to everyone who wants it, not just to those who can afford health insurance.
I dream of education for everyone who is capable of achieving it, all the way to the doctoral degree if they can master this; and I dream that our educational system is once again the very best in the world, not near the bottom of the heap as it currently is.
I dream that no American goes without food and/or shelter; and I dream that everyone who wants a job sill have one, because the old economic theories of Adam Smith and Karl Marx have been replaced by one which works so very much better.
I dream that because of this new economic system, that there are no more recessions and/or depressions, and that inflation is no longer a real social concern.
And I dream that Workfare has replaced Welfare, and I dream that someone is no longer paid to do nothing with my hard earned money.
I dream that the many fears resulting from the hole in the Ozone Layer of the atmosphere will be no more, and that today's current alarm about the dreaded Thermal Effect - with the oceans rapidly rising - will become a thing of the past.
And I dream that there will be plentiful clean, clear water running everywhere on this planet; that there will be no more smog coming from air inversions in our many cities; and I dream that there will be no more pollution of the earth's soil.
Completed next time.

I dream that much of this change will come about because fossil and nuclear fuels will no longer be our primary sources of energy, and I dream that solar, wind, and thermal energy will be highly developed.
I also dream that in the very near furure, non-radioactive fusion energy will be intensively researched by the government you and I pay for!
I dream that in ther future very few people will have cause to get a divorce, and that no longer will more than 1/3rd of this nation's children grow up in a fractured family with only one real parent.
I dream that AIDS and Herpies will be controlled in the furure, and I dream that having only one mate will be the main means of this control.
And I dream that abortion will no longer be the volatile issue that it is today, for the "morning after" pill will soon be extensively used for unwanted pregnancies.
There are transportation changes in my dreams as well, as most people will soon travel at over 200 miles per hour by Magnetic Train, just as the people of Japan and Europe are already beginning to do.
I dream that political corruption, from the many city councils all the way to the White House, will become a thing of the past; and I dream that being a politician will become a SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY for a change.
I dream that there will be strict enforcement of equil rights for all races of people, for every age group, and for both sexes; and I dream that Elvis and all four Beatles will sing songs to us again, and they will sing these songs with great joy.
Now most of us are very tired of waiting for all of this to happen here in America, even though it is now both socially and scientifically possible.
However, it is likely to never happen without YOUR active participation and involvement in politics!
We, the Baby-boom Generation, our kids, and even some of our grandkids, we may all either continue to be controlled by the current crop of crooked politicians whom we continually vote for, or we may take this control from them and make our dreams come true!
Let's begin to run this country OUR way, instead of continually being the victim of the all too typical "politicians" way!

We need a new political party in this country, and the Green Party fits the bill.
Not because it is consistant with what is neede3d in this country, but because with a host of new members it can be.
Remember, although the Republican Party is centered in the South - South Carolina, really - its first President was Abe Lincoln!
So political parties DO change!

Green? Why? We need to pull out of this recession first!

Another IDIOTIC post.

Good post jereny!!!
Obama now has about a 10%age point lead over his nearest declared Republican opponent for president - and according to many news sources, it continues to grow and grow!
It is beginning to appear that none of the candidates currently running will have enough votes at the Republican Ding-bat Presidential Convention to win the nomination for president.
If this does happen, Sister Sarah has recently been making herself VERY visable to the Republican voters, and I believe that she will get the nomination for president!
And then Obama will CLOBBER her in the presidential election in November!!!

President Obama and the British Prime Minister, are looking for ways to prevent a civil war in Syria.
They are also looking for ways to prevent Isreal from bombing Iran's nuclear facilities.
In the meantime, the Republican Ding-bat Tea Party leader for President of the United States is talking of ways to outlaw all abortion and/or other birth control methods!!!
This says it all, and there is not much for me left to say!

Obama has done nothing you hippie turd. Now shut your lib hole.

I have to say since Billy Joe hates Obama then I kinda like Obama. He did inherit alot of these problems. Everyday I hear lies about him and that makes me more for him. He does know how to speak sorta smart instead of the last group. And the last group was trigger happy in more ways than one.

I watched the presidential debate last night, and I agree with most correspondants: Romney was more obnoxious than Santorum, and clearly "Knocked him out of the box."
Only trouble is, I wouldn't vote for either of those two scirlous partcipants because of their obnoxious verbal behavior toward each other in the debates!

Nightshift has a dream too. He loves to steal from people and attack the homeless and hit them with his bag of Cheese Doodles.
He sneaks up on them while they're sleeping in their tents and pretends he's a bear, so he can steal their tent.

You think anyone cares who you would vote for. Your a moron who post on a forum all day. Shut your face.

The Republican Ding-bat TEA Party candidates have finally starting talking about the three national issues which concern the voting American public the most:
1. Making abortion ILLEGAL again!
2. Outlawing birth contol methods!
3. Making sex before marriage VERY difficult, now that the average age for first marriage is now in the late 20's!
Gosh, they really have the American voting public's number!!!

Now here is the sad part about everything written on here. Sex offender,
Dr. Dunn who often lives in a shelter and post from the coffee house is more mature, much smarter and much more interesting than all the rest of you put together.
The so called loser is actually 10 times better than any of you.
Dunn may be wacked, but in the end when all is said and done, if Dunn is now the new standard, then just what does that say about all of you punk azz immature low class losers.
Most of you wish you could be as amazing, interesting, and humble as I.
But there can be only one NIGHTSHIFT.
