I thought this building was in such bad shape?

I remember hearing about over loaded electrical outlets, poor plumbing and a leaky roof and windows, etc. What has changed?
Myerstown Elementary School was falling apart. That's what the school board said. We had to get those kids out of that building and into a new one.

So why, all of a sudden is it okay?
Does the Conrad Weiser school board know why this building was closed?
Do they realize this building has no air conditioning?

I'm happy to see that there is use for this building and that the school board is making an effort to generate some income from it. I think it's smart and it will bring some life back into the Boro.

But as I read this article I could not help but wonder, did the two elementary schools really need to be closed and was the expense of a new school really necessary? Were they really as bad as we were told
they were?

It's time to get rid of some administrators at ELCO.
