Word is that "Battleaxe Annie" brought a huge contingent of people with her to make her case - a whopping six.

And what is really annoying is that some of the six she brought with her are not even from the township.

Give it up, Annie. This is not a battle you will win.

More on-air for Dreamboat Annie with her bestest new media friend, La Laura too!

Annie was late for the meeting because she was helping a friend find a dog? Puh-leeze!

The best part was when Laura got on her soap box after the call.

Laura said she has a lot in common with Ann. She has strong opinions and dares to ask the tough questions and men don't like strong women like her and Ann.
Laura's says she's never been disrespectful or condescending to anyone or any elected official and she expects to be treated with the same respect. WHAT? Sounds to me like Laura and Ann should bunk together at a funny farm far, far away from here.
I know plenty of women who find Laura and Ann rude and offensive.
Both should be banned from public meetings and the airwaves.

Yes she was. She's a bully. She does not know how to conduct herself in public. What did her in was her harassment of a faculty member.

2 strikes in one year and the 3rd did her in. She thought she could fight it, she lost and then made a pleaded with the school board to take her back, give her a 4th chance and age did this in front of the public at a school board meeting.

She hung her dirty laundry out on a public washline and she brought supporters to help her.

Ann's was not and still isn't humbled or embarressed her behavior. She's off her rocker.

Ann has issues but so does the current Elco School Board, especially the president.

tom houtz should be ashamed of his behavior at the jackson township meeting.i could not hear very well but he asked gruber if she looked in the mirror lately. that is very unprofessional and then he slammed his hands on the table and walked out of the meeting like a little kid. He called the state police. not sure why. his comments to gruber were rude and disrespectful. he did cancel the state police after he realized people stayed to witness his antics. he offended ann but he called the police.

ann was an excellent teacher at elco and palmyra. she earned the respect of her students and peers except for one french teacher. then the principal, who can't handle his job, did not know that to do. karma to the french teacher. same situation has happened to the athletic director at elco. excellent people are not respected.
seems like people who write in this blog are afraid of women who have opinions, must all be men
go ann

Tom Houtz is a D-Bag and those antics don't surprise me. He always thinks he is God's gift to whatever he is currently involved in. He thinks he's better than others and cares only about himself. The only reason he is a "supervisor" is because it makes him look good, just like when he was mayor.

So what if Ann was an excellent teacher? She's not fiscally bright or else she wouldn't be demanding JT spend all of it's money on an unnecessary rec center.

Call for PSP

Philadelphia, PA

#13 Jun 9, 2011
Ann has a long history of run-ins with PSP...they get to know her everytime the bipolar switch flips to the crazy side. My guess is that she was late because she was looking for a dog in the bottom of a tequila bottle.

How many times do the supervisors need to tell her NO? I think Houtz's outburst was justified -- they gave her 5 minutes and she went on for nearly half an hour. PSP was most likely called in to clear the disruption she was causing ---AGAIN. Anyone that has every had a run-in with her knows that she is a "battle-ax" and there is just no way to shut her down other than call the only authority she has respect for; the police.

Just after the meeting, she told Houtz that he reminds her of her "abusive ex-husband". Didn't SHE violate the Protection From Abuse order that HE has against her?? Is she really someone we would want running a rec center?

More importantly, should she even be given credibility on the issue if she has serious societal issues as have been demonstrated?

It's funny that the other members of the council did not seem to have an issue with "crazy" Ann's behavior. Though it may be true that she is a thorn in their side they acted respectfully towards her unlike Mr. Houtz who acted childish. Why is is that some on township council think that the position makes them better than others. He was quoted as saying that he doesn't apologize. What kind of attitude is that. It sounds like both of them may have issues. At the last meeting she asked the council to revisit her request at the next meeting which they said they would but when she brought up the topic they acted like they couldn't even remember what her previous questions were. If you don't want to discuss the subject then give Ann her time and move on. And what about putting grant money into the budget that hasn't even been allotted yet. How does that make any sense. Seems that things are kind of out of control in Jackson township. And was it really necessary to call the police. Man up and handle yourself and your constituents there Houtzy. Don't throw a fit and then call the cops.

Sounds like somebody has a burr up their butt about Tom Houtz.

Say, doesn't Ann Gruber have a server running out of York County?
