Teachers all have undergrad or graduate degrees. Parents probably paid for the undergraduate degree and the school district probably paid for the masters and doctorate. So what did these teachers actually pay for themselves? And even though all of these degrees were paid for by someone else, they still get a raise. I am sure that many people would go to college if someone else was going to foot the bill for them and they were guaranteed to get a raise for making no financial commitment themselves. And seeing how the did not have to pay for anything were they actually going to class and studying or were they just screwing off? And how did they manage to ge this position with the school district? Was it through a political appointment solely because a parent was on the school board?
