"There Needs To Be Some Consequences, For Ones Actions In This Case"

I am really appalled at how a man can be killed by a person at a bar in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and there not be a person locked up over it! I understand that it may not have been a pre meditated murder, and that it was a fight. But usually when someone dies as a result of a fight there is some kind of charges filed, at least there is in Wisconsin. The D.A's office up here will file either 2nd Degree Murder, or manslaughter charges on the other party, and let the jury decide if he was at fault. Let the shoe been on the other foot and i'd be willing to bet that Matt would have been in jail. I am so tired of how the laws we have in place are not equal among all United States citizens. There SERIOUSLY NEEDS TO BE AN ARREST MADE IN THIS CASE!!!!! Matthew is no longer with his family, My Niece lost her husband, and the person responsible for his death is probably out at another bar drinking a beer as we speak. Come on Muskogee P.D. do your job, and put the person responsible for this senseless death behind bars where he belongs. Accident or not a man is dead, and the person responsible needs to have consequences! What kind of message are y'all sending to the community there. I feel sorry for the residents of Muskogee, with Police, and district attorney's that don't want to do their job's to protect them!!!!!! They would rather lock people up, and prosecute petty cases, and let killers walk free on their streets.

So reading between the lines here I take it that Flea Flicker frequent is trying to say he is one of the owners. I don't buy that Matt pushed a pregnant woman. And even if he did touch her you call the police you don't try to restrain the person, whoever it may have been. You ask the person to leave and chances are he would have. But because some guys wanted to feel like the BIG HERO there, someone is dead. Whether he hit his head or didn't is irrelevant here. there needs to be consequences for putting your hands on the person. If you are not the police, or security guards hired by the establishment you stay the F out of it. That is what they are hired for. I see this is going to be one of them cases where the other guy The (ONE ALIVE), must have had more friends there on his side to back his story that the deceased. And it don't take that long for all of your friends to stick to the same story. See that things will never change in Muskogee. I remember going to that bar when it was Mulligans Sports Bar, and there used to be people tripping on Ecstasy, and other drugs there and the bartenders never threw them out, when they got stupid, Oh wait they may have known them too......Muskogee is a Piece of shit scummy town where killers get away with murder, Accidental or on purpose..........ANd to think I used to Love Muskogee, And still call it my home town....

I give u respect on what ur sayin man. im not one of the owners. i just kno what happened and there wasnt a fight. the bartender was asking him to leave and thats when he pushed her. people get to drinkin and they dnt always do the right thing. its a bad situation and im sorry that it happened. i said earlier that my thoughts go out 2 his family. nobody wants anything like that 2 happen 2 anyone. it just made me mad earlier when u were saying that he had been shot. theres a million stories goin around town that are bullshit. i kno that he was not shot, he didnt get hit with a pool que, he never got struck by anyone. there were no punches ever thrown by anyone. a person that was with the guy that was tryin 2 restrain him is the one that called for help. they werent tryin 2 hurt matt. again i respect what ur sayin here and im sorry for ur loss and my thoughts are with the family

If what is being said is true the "victim" would be a really fine family man, wouldn't he? Out drinking and pushing pregnant women around. If the story isn't true then he was just out drinking, alone. Fine family man. Hopefully this story will get followed up and we will get more facts.

guess the main thing to remember is nobody knows how they would have reacted at that split second unless u were there or ever in that position. Its 2 late 2 change what happened and its a said deal. everyone just needs 2 keep his family n there thoughts and quit all the bs and drama thats being spread around town.

I get so tired of hearing ppl say "Oh, well you are from so-and-so town, how would you know?"
Okay, you jack holes, the town listed underneath the username does NOT indicate where you are from. I have Cox cable in Tulsa and sometimes some random town shows up under my username.

So get past that [email protected] and commence arguing, lol!

Hope he had a good job with 9 kids. I make pretty good money and I struggle to take care of my wife and one teenager. I sure couldn't afford to be out drinking in a bar and take care of my family the way I want to. To bad he died, but grown ups know that the bar life goes away when you have family. By bar life I don't mean the occasional drink, I mean half a pitcher of beer and several mixed drinks then getting into it with another customer and pushing around a pregnant women to boot.

Maybe the idiot that died is a convicted felon with a terrible attitude. Maybe the only "crime" that took place was this idiot violated his parole by hanging out in a bar, harassing the other patrons. Simply put, maybe this guy had it coming.

Wow can't beleive i ran across this lol

Matt died from positional asphixiation, he was a large guy yes, and was held down on his stomach while he was restrained, he suffocated to death...

Yep he was drunk and probably stoned, but did anyone bother to check if he was breathing while they were holding him down, face in the floor? I'm guessing that's a big old NO...

The death was ruled a homicide, no charges, go figure...

I suppose that's life right? Well that's life for those of us who have their brother killed in a bar "altercation" right??
