It was a mistake to tear that joint down. It was one of the few redeeming things about Muskegon. I remembered hanging out there with my friends in the late80s and early 90s in the arcade. I would kick my friend's butt in "Street Fighter" and had a pleasant surprise when I saw that they had "Sonic Fighters". You just cant go wrong with getting molested by a green Howard the Duck in that game. That game is miles ahead better than what Sega churns out nowadays. Sonic Colors? Really? Dont get me started on Sonic Unleashed. Werehog...but seriously, there are no good arcades in the Muskegon area...unless you count Chuck E Cheese, which I certainly DON'T. They need to rebuild the mall EXACTLY like it was in the 80s and 90s. The new Lakes Mall sucks in comparison. The Muskegon Mall had a real "gritty" urban feel to it that the Lakes Mall does not have. Come to think about it, the 80s and the 90s had a cool feel that got washed away by these teeny boperz in the 21st century. I will do anything to have those decades back. Music, movies, arcade and video games were all amazing, but the Muskegon Mall truly was the best part. It seemed like all hope died when the mall closed down...
