ok all you "Voice of the People" trolls, explain how this is right.

The government (school administrators) aren't even allowing a vote!

How simple are these people? The first two words in any definition of a king are "a male" This is no male just a confused female. This is just getting more and more stupid

What does it matter to you? These kids should be able to vote for whomever they want. Oh that's right, you don't believe in freedom of choice.

I actually saw this headline and just had to shrug and laugh. Why do I have to wake up every day and see that people are causing gay/trans people problems? Where does it end? Is this another lawsuit? I certainly hope so. Bankrupt them. I'm so goddamn sick of it.

Dude, it's one thing if they didn't bother. That's what the anti-gay always scream about, no?

They could have ignored him, thought he was in no way fit to hold the title.

THEY VOTED FOR HIM. They *chose* him. And now the *administration* is flouting and ignoring that, and they're just asking for negative national attention and, at worst, a lawsuit.

My god, it would be one thing if they hadn't chosen this. Why the problem if they *want* him as one of the contestants? That boggles the mind.

That's where the "moral values" which are bullshit are being forced down the *gay and pro-gay people's throats*, despite endless anti-gay complaints that THEY, the anti-gay, are the ones having to deal with that.

What don't you understand about "equal protection of the laws" ? Or "democracy" ? If the VOTERS did not WANT this person as KING, then they would not have voted for him. Should they NOT have the RIGHT TO VOTE because they DID NOT "vote the right way" ?

You sound like Stalin and Obamaniac. Or John Kerry who recently said that voters were just too stupid to vote the "right way".

Sure I do and the people of California should have never had their choice overturned. It is going to be appealed now so just hold onto the reigns as it may be a rough ride

You simply fail to understand how our constitution works. That doesn't come as a big suprise to anyone here.

That isn't true it is just that you use conflicting arguments when they are convenient for you. You are just hypocritical

No conflict. Prop 8 violated the U.S. Constitution. The vote in Muskegon for prom king would NOT have violated anything.

Certainly is one vote is the vote you want and one isn't so you just change your justification. Smooth

We discriminate against many people. They don't fit the requirements. Sorry
