a person i know once said dont work hard work smart. Tony Tague says hes a tough prosecutor! and he is! but what he is not is a smart prosecutor! it is easy to say lock em up and throw away the key. but it takes a smart prosecutor to know when to put them in prison and when not to. Tony Tague only cares about Numbers. the justice system is more than numbers. and should be treated as more than just numbers! Elect a prosecutor who will be not just a tough prosecutor but a smart prosecutor as well.

this is it! i am inviting any tague supporters out their to debate me on why Tony Tague should be reelected. voters of Muskegon county lets show Tague will not be reelected. I urge all of you to vote Swanson in the primary and Smedley in the General election! Give 'em Hell!

Swanson's going to win. He's military and military men are hot!!! What he needs to do is take some more pic's in that uniform - wow! Who would know how to strengthen a weak case for the prosecution then a defense guy - strategy is everything in getting convictions.

Instead of focusing on the MANY things Tague has against him, why don't you focus more on thinking about what Al Swanson or Annette Smedley can bring to the game.

Several people have written about what they bring to the table, which is allot more then Tague has in the last 20 years. If you read the prior comments you will find some of the things they bring. All you need to do is search for the results or talk to the other candidates and you will be surprised. There are several programs they will put in place, that Tague did not, that has worked great in other counties. Tague has lost contact with the community and their needs. It is time for someone that knows the community's needs to take his place. Like I said earlier all you have to do is search for the facts while keeping an open mind and you will be surprised. Remember this if they do not bring anything to the table then why is Tague so worried and putting out so many signs and appearances in court and the public? So far the response of the public toward them running against Tague has proven the community is not happy.

The reality here comes from many angles. First, Muskegon cannot afford the Tauge administration. This includes all of "managment", polocies and even the little prosecutors under tauge. Yes some of the staff is moral and are good, however some of those guys are learning to become little "Tony's" which will never be good. I propose to gut out that office and start fresh. As for his statistics...well then.
I am a teacher, and I can also get a 100% passing rate for all of my students for as many years, but it would be by means of lying cheating and intimidating people and Im pretty sure it would also be illegal. So stats are for people who hate to read into things.
Tauge thinks we are all ignorant and believe everything we read in the papers and see on TV.
TV Tony is playing his Dem. card. and as my true Democrat friends as well as the the Big Dogs in Washington say,"It's time for change"
I perfer to use the word "reform", but "change" does seem to hit harder. It is time to change Muskegon's Prosecutors office for the better. This cannot be accomplished with out the removal of one man---------Tony Tauge
I believe Tony has failed in other aspirations in his life so he seeks pleasure in his abuse of powers and will evetually retire with a fat pension and continue his restraunt dreams.
But personally, I don't trust a non-family man, nor do I trust a man who claims to be "the most powerful man in Muskegon".
