Reeths-Puffer parent--I couldn't agree with you more. I am loosing faith that the children at RP and elsewhere have learned anything from this. Just over a week ago I saw a small truck being driven by a young male with a female passenger. The truck had all of the deceased names on it. He was driving like an idiot on snowy slick roads. You don't have to be drunk or high to cause an accident. Everybody needs to be more cautious about how they drive.

For all of those out there that are making excuses for these kids, PLEASE STOP! They are dead because they in fact made stupid choices. VERY stupid! However, countless people, kids included do the same thing of everyday and only a very small amount are killed or kill others. That is no excuse. Regardless of circumstance you are responsible for every action you take, every choice you make. It’s only by the grace of God that they didn’t harm or kill an innocent person or persons. Unless you’ve been living in a cave, you should know that if you drink and drive, you die.
For all of you that knew these boys, after the blindness of your pain is cleared, never forget what has happened and who and what the cause was. A life is a high price to pay for a drink.
You said it, thats the bottom line.... It goes back to Drugs and Alohol, the choice, the risk, the facts we must drill non stop to bring awareness our children. The ripple effect of alcohol when it is used and or abused. I pray that anyone that who knew these teens or heard and watched the news will remember the sadness and loss. The the first choice to drink can lead to a second choice of doing this safely and responsibly. Lifes Lessons are the hardest learned...FYI (anyone) we all no they suck, we don't have to like or agree with them, we do have to learn from them them.
