Muskegon Airport is super convenient, but their prices are almost always higher than Grand Rapids. Is their a reason for this? i would like to support the local airport but i can't afford to if they are not going to lower their prices enough to be competitive.

I was told by a friend who works at an airport that they do not set their own prices. They are set by the airlines and the airport has no control over them.

The airlines have control over prices. Sometimes MKG is less and sometimes more. The key is to ALWAYS compare because fares change everyday. And don't forget to consider the total trip cost. Add parking, gas, mileage etc. A total trip calculator can be found on www.muskegonairport.com . You can also contact me to make sure you are getting the lowest prices. [email protected] Glad you like our airport!

Thanks! i was not expecting to get a response from a person who works at Muskegon Airport. It is nice to know that you guys are online. If the airlines control the prices is there anything you are trying to do to lower them?
