and committed sexual misconducts while serving out his sentence.

No added penialties for this though I see. Looks to me a continuation of the perverted acts from his conviction, therefore, so have added more time to sentence!!! Keep the pervy looked up!

This man should never be allowed to roam free again. He is a sexual predator and has proven that if allowed out - he will do it again. Our prison system is so messed up. How can a murderer and sexual predator even have a chance at going free. When are the women he assaulted and the woman he murdered going to be free? Never. They have to suffer from his horrible acts forever. Keep him in until at least 2024. This article does not even begin to describe all of the horrible acts this creep has committed over the years. They are horrifying.

So he did his time, and now he's all reformed and it's safe to put him back into society, right? I'm sorry, but someone with this man's history does not get better. Once a rapist killer, always a rapist killer. Those sick sadistic feelings he has against women are still there in the back of his head, and he will do it again. He should never be let out. For those of you that think he should go free, you are making a phenomenally huge mistake, and you lack good judgment. When he rapes or kills again, those of us that think realistically can all say we told you so. It's just sad that someone else is going to have to become his next victim in order to open the eyes of the know-it-alls who feel he should be let out. The state is going to regret this decision.

Itís Gerald Warner coming back to haunt us. He was the Prosecutor at the time and he would plea bargain every case so he wouldnít have to do any work. If you commit a murder, you should be locked up for lifeÖ No ifís andís or butís

What I would like to know is are the members of MDOC who are fighting to have him released going to be in charge of him? Are they willing to put themselves in danger and take him into their homes and keep an eye on him?

No they're not. They just want to let him out and get him off their hands. They don't care about public safety or the concerns the public has of his release.

If he was willing to do the crimes he did to get him in prison, break out of prison and CONTINUE his s.exual assaults IN prison, what makes them think he's rehabilitated and he's safe to be in the general public? He wasn't safe in general population in prison, he most CERTAINLY isn't safe in the general public!

Several years back already I read that it cost $45,000 anually to house a prisoner. I don't know what a good rope costs, but I can assure you it would put an end to him being a problem and put $45,000 in the state budget we could use.

It's time to stop coddling criminals and give them their just rewards. Thank God for someone like Tony Tague that wants to hold him accountable. We need more like him!

Unbelievable! They are so concerned with the "rights" of the piece of garbage criminal. Granholm certainly would be waiving the checkered flag to get him sprung from prison as soon as possible!

This monster's record while in prison certainly proves that he can't be trusted if he's released. Would the idiots who want to release him allow him to live with them? NOT!!!!

There is noway that this man should ever be released.PERIOD! It seems like a no brainer to me. People who commit horific crimes like this do not deserve civil rights or any other kind of comfort afforded to law abiding citizens. Bravo Tony Tague I hope you are successful in your fight to keep this monster in a cage where he belongs.

I wonder how long it will take the victim(s) or their families to sue the state if he is released and committs another unspeakable act? That is unless the public takes matters into their own hands and dishes out their own form of punishment.

I cannot believe this! If this man murdered someone he should serve a life sentence. If he rapes that should be added to the life sentence. A convicted sex offender does not get better. A sex offender is constintly fighting his urges for the rest of his life. It is a disease that needs to stay confined. So all I can say is keep fighting Tony and don't give up. Fight like you did for us when we lost Andre Bosse 10 years ago to that monster Dean Metcalfe!

He needs to be neutered before he is let go...

Or woe to the neighborhood he moves to as casteration is THE ONLY CURE for sexual predators!

Freedom in exchange for a "snipping" is in the best interest of society!

What does the State know, they can not even balance a budget and lets face it, our prisons are operated as hotels. This person should stay his full term, but then again, we all can expect early releases soon because of our budget problems. Just watch, my hat off to the Tony Tague, Muskegon County Prosecutor, he is watching out for all concern citizens of this county and state. Something that our legislature needs to learn, good job Mr. Tague.

No no no he should not be free to go. People like this do not get better, he will eventually do it again to someone else. I think he should be in there for life!

If he is let out, there is a simple solution, one that I don't normally endorse, and that solution is vigilanteism. (Don't really know how to spell it, but it's close.)

If Girard thinks he should go free, let her live with him,or even be alone with him for any length of time. Let her live and relive the nighmares myself and I am sure many other women relive everytime his name comes into print. He is a smooth talking Con with a jeckle hyde personality, a brother to the Devil himself. A danger to women everwhere. He should not ever be free.
