My wife car, a 2006 Forenza Wagon was servised by Suzuki Shoals before they close down. The car under warrantyat at that time, was suposed to have the front and back struts replaced. They only replaced the front ones. Now the bad condition of the rear struts is afecting the car drivability. The repair cost should have been covered by the warranty.

I own a 2007 suzuki forenza. The transmission range sensor has failed a SECOND time! This causes the vehicle to suddenly "kick into nuetral mode" while driving. I was sitting at a stop light when I was rear ended becuae my car would not pick up speed and would not go over 20 mph. Of course, this is not covered under Suzuki warranty becasue it is not an "internal trasmission part" it is more so a computer glitch. Suzuki needs to own up to this defect in the design of this model's transmission sensor.

The more complaints, the more likely there is to be a recall, however complaints need to filed where there is recourse.

Contact the National Traffic Safety Adminstration at 888-327-4236 and report these claims!!!

2005 forenza sedan, one year in the transmission went, after the 3 year coverage expired the transmission range sensor went out. Several weeks after that one of the pistons shattered. (Wo years after that the timing belt tensioner broke, causing the timing belt to fall off which resulted in engine damage. Thankfully suzuki paid for it. O and did I mention that several months before that the airbag light turned on, giving off two codes, which are not covered by the warranty and either way the dealership told us that they're not exactly sure what it could be and that it could take several hours to fix. Excellent car brand... NOT

I have a 2007 suzuki forenza, I have had multiple problems with my vehicle and it just so happens everything that goes wrong isn't warrantied (supposedly) I bought my car Brand new with less then 10 miles on it. Right after driving it off the lot the tire pressure sensor light went on and they attempted to fix it and It has remained on for 3.5 years now. The first year I had it an oil leak was found that caused damage to my serpentine belt, the 2nd year the paint on the door handles started chipping, and both rear door started rusting and now sqeak really loud and are hard to open and close. Now at 3.5 years and just over 50k miles my clutch slave cylinder goes out, 2 months after I am now dealing more transmission problems, my 5th gear will not work. So last week the dealership had to replace a drip pan and a seal in the trasnmisssion, problem still isn't fixed and now they want to tear it apart to see if the seal leak ruined a fork, and they keep telling it may not be warrantied. I have had costly problem after problem with this car. Also when I bought this car I was promised 4 free oil changes a year, well they didn't mention I had to drive and hour and a half away to have this service done. I feel like I have been lied to and cheated. This is my 2nd Suzuki purchase and I am ready to contact a lawyer and discuss my options.

I own a 2007 Forenza. This car has turned into a huge disappointment!
I have had to have all of the interior door handles replaced. If you let go of the handle it will snap in half, same place every time, from the recoil. This is clearly a defect in the way the handle was made.
I have had to have my brake switch replaced because after shutting the car off, the brake and tail lights stayed on. Wasn't very convenient pulling the battery cables off to make them shut off so as not to run down the battery.
My passenger side air bag light does not go off when there is a passenger. Dealership said it was because of low battery. O.k., sure, I want to know that the airbag is going to work!
Now at 3 yrs. 3 months and 27,000 miles the transmission range sensor is going out. Not covered, of course and if I wanted warranty work done I will have to drive out of state to find a dealer. I can't drive this car that far since it wont go in high gear and can be very unsafe when trying to go from a complete stop.
I would never recommend a Suzuki to anyone. Hopefully, after getting the car fixed, I will be able to get rid of it. I am also planning on making that call to the Traffic Safety Adminstration!

I have a 2006 Suzuki Forenza and have had nothing but problems with it. My transmission range sensor has went out for the second time and Suzuki dealerships are no help at all. I am going to report this problem because it is very dangerous when you are driving..please inform me so I can talk to your lawyer.

YES! Please keep me in the loop with regard to a Clas Action lawsuit AGAINST Suzuki.

We have a 2005 FORENZA that has some of the same problems already noted in this board.

SUZUKI's shameful conduct as far as turning it's huge Corporate back on those of us who believed in them by purchasing one of their vehicles has been (and still is) criminal... how are they getting away with all of this?

From denying responsibility for obvious defective design flaws / planned obsolescence / planned failures, not to mention airbag systems flawed by poorly designed 'under the seat' wiring, airbag malfunctions including failure to deploy.

Let's not forget all of the now closed Suzuki Dealers. Suzuki now sends loyal customers to other brand new car dealerships for 'repairs' while they continue to advertise their new models aggressively on network television.

They gladly took our money, yet have left us all at the bus stop with no ticket.

Let's NOT take this sitting down. Please let me know if a Class Action suit comes to pass. Count me in-

I bought a 07 suzuki forenza and I barely have the car for 1 year and a half the transmission range switch went out and of course the warranty did not cover it. There was no use in buying the warranty because the dealer considers that part as a normal "wear and tear". A bunch of BS !!!! I am definitely interested in filing a law suit.

Any update from anybody on filing a class action law suit? My gf bought her 2007 Forenza brand new and he's had nothing, but issues. She did have her transmission replaced under her warranty. She just hit 60k miles and needs to get her timing belt replaced.

Yeah I still have the issue. 2008 Forenza 21k miles transmission range sensor went out. I can't even find a dealer who carries it to buy. Any info email me. love.jml@gmail.com
