It may interest any readers that the Riverside County sheriffs Temecula station had a major corruption case occur and its still on-going. A special station team ( SEU ) street enforcement unit which was created to do good for the community, was found to have major corruption charges investigated in the months of March-July of 2007. So much bad stuff was going on that the entire unit and its Sargeant was disbanded and the Sargeant was removed from his position and walked out from the station. This did not make headline news because that is what Temecula politics hides from its community. Well we all need to know such corrupt police activity, such as this.. if a police units gets canned and under department investigation and a police sargeant that is responsible for the team and our safety and is found to be corrupt and is fired from temecula station.... Duh... dont you think we would need to know about it! For any reader that has been harrassed or treated poorly by temecula police officers should report any and all poor and unprofesstional behavior ASAP to the station and file a complaint. This is a good community and its poloce should be the same !

Yes, the magical words, "harrassed" and "treated poorly"....Yet one should notify "its poloce" ASAP....This must be one of our outstanding citizens Temecula?
Or just go by the outstanding statements, "Duh"...

awabidingtemeculacitzen -- is there any need to be unkind in your post?

What good does it serve to point out spelling errors?

I think it is important for all of us to be informed about what goes on in our community and especially when it comes to law enforcement or people in positions of protecting citizens.

I have been searching for information on what was going on in the Temecula Creek Inn area last Saturday night with Police Helicopters for 30 minutes and nothing is to be found anywhere.

At the time, I called the police and was told to lock my doors and windows and turn on all of my outside lights and report any suspicious activity such as someone running in the dark or hopping fences. They could not tell me anymore than there is a chase going on.

Well, even I could figure that out. But it would be nice after the fact to get more information published so we can become more aware of what is happening in our community.

OK so your a english professor... thanks for noting the obvious. This post was written for the interested in temecula police corruption issues, not a lecture on spelling and grammer structure. Get a life or "Duh" as you noted. Thanks Mr.Wizard

Yep the latest,

A Riverside County sheriff's corporal has been arrested on suspicion of stalking and harassing two co-workers, at least one of whom had reported misconduct by fellow deputies to their superiors, according to court documents.

Cpl. Eric Lance Hamilton, 43, of Canyon Lake, who had worked in the Temecula area, was charged May 2 with embezzlement, making annoying phone calls and two counts of stalking. He was arrested three days later and booked into the Southwest Detention Center. Hamilton was released the same day on $25,000 bond, jail records show.

According to an affidavit in support of an arrest warrant, sheriff's Investigator Christian Dekker and Hamilton were members of a special enforcement team that worked out of the sheriff's Southwest Station.

Guess the hits keep on comming!

Did you know that the Public Defender hires people with prior Duis's child endangerments with a BAC .29.. Did you know that the Public Defender hires people with a Purjury case with Bill Lockyer for lying under oath purjury, deceitfulness, untruthf ulness. Who's hiring these unscrupulious people. What substandard hiring procedures. Shame on Riverside County. Did you know that there allowed to use county resources to stalk harass, intimidate, county employees apply for fee waivers when there income far exceeds income limitations(this is fraud and taxpayers are paying for it). Who diciplines these fraud artist?Who do call when they commit fraud, perjury???
What are the hiring procedures of the County with respect to prior convictions??? Do they take our saftey into consideration. Coworkers, and people with authority think they are law abiding citizens when in all actuality they are they devil in disguise. Unaware of their record and after hours activites. Including extortion in the courtroom. I am disgusted..... anyone out there with similiar incident or were you a witness to abuse by officials at SWJC. Good job CHP keep up the great work...Keep drunks off the highway

RC Deputies have a history of being corrupt, but there are some good ones. They just need to weed out the home wreckers that sleep with married volunteers/reserve program officers even though they are married too. Married deputies that have been involved with married volunteers-- you're on notice for possible administrative and/or legal action. Some of you are still doing it, and some think you've gotten away with it for a few years now. I'm sure you'll be hearing from someone higher up in your chain soon. Might look better if you came clean with it now. Can anyone say Conduct Unbecoming?

Riverside County -To get the autopsy and Sheriff report from Riverside the same internal affairs detective that busted this group had to get us the reports we had a legal right to. But then dropped the ball and did not investigate the corruption the documents uncovered. The Da office covered over the murder of a 68 year old man for a friend. Why would the Sheriff Coroner need to have the autopsy records private and closed for ten years? Why would a guy who admitted to choking a 68 year old get out of jail without bail and without being drug tested? Why would the local newspaper have the autopsy before the family and put a article front page 5 months after wards with false statements? Why would the fire department put no injuries when the pictures show a brutal attack? Why would the DA and Sheriff tell the family no injuries and a heart attack when it never was a heart attack?

Wow, corruption? In City Hall, Police Departments, Unfair Hiring practices? Hmmmmm...does this really exist? Oh well, all I can say is that it really makes one wonder who, what or how people are hired. Is there nepotism involved? Do they hire friends and friends of relatives so they can monopolize tax payers' money and enjoy the benefits of an easy job?

Be vigilant! Record and Report any corrupt practices. We are the community and we have to look after it.

Its a terrible fraud when our District attorney says he helps victims as a news opportunity but then does nothing in line with what he says. The scam of a elders victim advocate at Riverside County is a crime. Lee Frank 72 asked Riverside DA office for a elder victim advocate and was told Riverside County did not have one. Mike Rushton now judge stated Riverside did not have one. APS has not been notified. Its another empty news opportunity. When we saw award in newspaper for elder victims advocate for Rod Pacheco we called Kim Emmerling the DA Victim Advocate and she wrote back she was quitting the next day. When prosecutor Daima Calhoun threatened Lee Frank and her daughter that if she kept pursuing this case they would arrest 72 year old Lee Frank. We complained and she moved to San Bernardino. He husband was strangled in front of her and has had major corruption in the DA staff and sheriff department. The parents of the killer have followed, harassed her and the neighbors. Now putting a house that the county bought them as a fire victim two doors from Lee Frank.
