What Can Be Done About The Kirby Company and their deception?

Seriously, I just started reading this forum today and mann, there are some seriously pissed off people mad with Kirby. I'm one of them too. What do we do? We need a plan. Tomorrow morning I am taking a drive to the local Division of Labor Standards Enforcement and seeing what can be done about being paid what I was told I was to be paid. No bull either. I want my money. I bet for those of you former employees who didn't get a real check do too. Also I was reading the main kirby complaints and it's sad to see it's with the consumer, people, customers treated poorly. So I've made copies of some of the complaints and I'm finding out what I can do at this point. We need to take action. People are getting screwed over, treated poorly and basically are not satisfied. I am so glad that I'm not with Kirby anymore. I want to hear a success story instead of these sad ones I read today. Wish me the best and I will follow up with my results for tomorrow. BMBC

I had the kirby sales people come to my apt in Murrieta about march of this year and they were very pushy but me and my now ex allowed them in to do the demonstration and they were there for like 4 hours like some people said. We did get suckered into buying for about 80 dollars a month which isn't to bad, we sat there and negotiated for a while though. In the end we have had no complaints with the vacuum and we have had great experience with them. The only thing I would change is the pushyness of them but so far so good. There is no reason to be "taken" by the Kirby crew. There is so much info out there re: this companies selling tactics it could be considered common knowledge. Do yourself a favor, install hardwood and you will rid yourself of door to door floor care salesmen forever. We will be seeing an increase in door to door sales with the slowing economy. Like Nancy said, "just say no".

Weeks ago Some Kirby people Came to our house and the 3 guys that came were nice showed us what Kirby Does and all the benifits of it. I can't affort it now but I will buy it Soon. I did some Research on it its an industrial Company Thats been Around for 95 years really there is only one other company thats been here that long that is also 100% made in USA and its Harley Davidson this 2 companies make over a billion every year anyway Kirby Vacs are pricy because If anyone can tell me a better vacuum that costs less or a better vacuum period; than Ill say its Kirby its bull what people dont realise is that they waist thousands a year between having their carpet washed their cars inside washed buying shitty vacuums having furniture washed paying exterminator to kill buggs replaicing carpets because all the water that didnt get sucked created bumps mold and rotted the old one trust me people don't realise you also sleep with million on micro termites in your matres every day feeding them with your dead skin when they did my matres I was impressed with all the stuff they got off from it and my bed its pretty new and clean at Least thats what I thought not to mention Kirby is the only home cleaner that has a life time Warranty no excuses,
You dont see a website about Kirby because its word by mouth company again they've been around 95 years survied bad economy, great depreccion world war, the creator is in the 5 richest people in the world you think its a scam Come on Sleep on that...
