has anyone else been ripped off by this company. IF NOT THIS IS TO WARN YOU ABOUT THESE SO CALLED "FREE CARPET CLEANING" OFFERS. THERE WILL BE A GIRL AT YOUR DOOR OFFERING TO CLEAN YOUR CARPET FOR FREE, IN RETURN ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR OPINION. OF COURSE THAT IS A LIE. THEN A SALESMAN COMES IN YOUR HOME AND STARTS DOING THIS PRESENTATION ON THE KIRBY VACUUM. BOTTOM LINE...THEY WILL TRY TO SELL YOU THE VACCUM FOR 2500 PLUS DOLLARS. THEY WILL KEEP LOWERING THE PRICE UNTIL YOU SAY YES. IF U DO END UP BUYING ONE YOU HAVE 3 DAYS TO CANCEL. WHICH IS SNEAKY OF THEM BECAUSE THEY ONLY ASK THAT YOU MAIL THE CANCELATION FORM, BUT THEN THEY WILL ACT LIKE IT GOT LOST IN THE MAIL. THIS COMPANY IS LOCATED ON 41548 EASTMAN DRIVE IN MURRIETA. SO WATCH OUT FOR THE WHITE VAN DRIVING AROUND WITH A BUNCH OF LOW LIFE SNEAKY SALESPEOPLE THAT WILL COME INTO YOUR HOUSE AND REFUSE TO LEAVE.

What is the number for those guys? They cleaned my carpet and were jerks and refused to leave. They arrived at 6 and did not leave till 10. Oh and if you have any young girls in the house, keep them out of the site of the carpet cleaners. They are creeps.

I live in an area where mostly elderly people live. We have a very active crime watch group. We have warned our residents of the white van that sends out young girls to get you to let them do the carpet cleaning for free. We had an incident where the young girls convinced the homeowner to let them clean an area and the next day the homeowners had things taken from the garage by the white van. They took off too quick to get the license and the description of the gentleman was the same as the day before, but how do you get them unless they return and you are around to identify them. Beware. It's a better idea to not let any sales people in your home. Be safe, keep your family safe and protect your property.

It is Sunday July 13th and these same scammers are working the Crowne Hill area. Yesterday a young (about 25 years old) African American male canvassed the area on foot, and today the white van showed up driven by a middle aged (about 40 years old) white male wearing glasses. A somewhat pretty, young (about 20 years old) white female is going door to door offering to clean a portion of carpet. She didn't seem to understand what "no thanks, I'm not interested" meant. Beware.....

It's Sunday afternoon and ACE (Advance Cleaning Equipment 41548 Eastman Drive Unit C, Murrieta, CA 92562 1-951-304-7778 or 1-951-304-3443) also known as Kirby Sales & Service at the same address is at it again in Oceanside. I have to admit that the best defense against the sales pitch is not to let them into your house. This worked the first time that they were in my neighborhood but, my carpet looked shabby and I wanted a room cleaned for "free". They never mentioned that a demo or vacuum system was involved. Ask questions first. My mistake. After 2 hours of demo the closer was sent in. I have to admit that the system works very well and the area that they cleaned looks good. Save yourself alot of $$ and buy it on the Internet if you must get one. If you buy it throught them, use a credit card, you can dispute any credit card purchase, never pay cash, debit, finance terms or other payment in full. You have 3 days to cancel the contract or you are out of luck. Send the cancellation by USPS certified mail and fax them a copy. If you don't do this, you paperwork will probably end up in a shredder. Yes, I admit I bought a system before doing my homework. Do not make the same mistake that I did.

These pushy pieces of garbage came to my house in disguise. They used the same tactic on my wife some adorable little girl offering carpet cleaning sample as if she was representing a family business or something. I took the 4 boys to the movies so the wife could have a nap and when I got home and found out they had been there 3 hours I was fit to be tied. I was seriously thinking physical harm but the wife took me upstairs calmed me down and we dismissed them.

I've been out of a job since mid-May, and saw ACE's employment ad for a Customer Service Rep in the Press-Enterprises' Jobs listing. I was about to go through the process of being a full-fledged employee until my wife Googled these guys and found this site the night before I was scheduled to go to their Murrieta office for orientation. I am truly hurting for work, but not bad enough to start scamming Murrieta and the surrounding region. I am so glad you all posted your comments and have given all visitors to this site the real low-down on what ACE is really doing with its "customer service." Caveat emptor. Seems the solution (in retrospect) is not to let them in your house to begin with. God bless you all.

Everyone last one of you are lame..... Why? Because if u are stupid enough to let someone in your house even at 6 7 even 9 pm they are trying to sell something.. when the "manger" comes in they tell u its kirby they are for sale but you DON'T have to BUY anything.. all of you or just bitter... Oh and the guy was saying he made 1800.00 in a week me and my sister make 2200 plus in a week and get free paid vactions and my sister currently lives in hawii and makes more then 2200 a week .. id like 2 see u all do that in a week not a month a week... us "kirby" people have a life and money so i suggest u get a life cause all of u are bitter and u have 3 days 2 cancel ur best bet to cancel is to call the finance company ..... ur welcome ps if u have been out of a job for while u shouldn't have any comments... i support my mom and i pay all bills without kirby that wouldn't be possible Kirby is only for people who wanna and need to work

Anyone that would let someone into their home to clean a carpet free should know that there is a catch, possibly they are trying to sell something (Duh!). Are all of you that think it's a scam really that ignorant? Also, it's very easy to cancel a contract. In CA you have three days to cancel a contract. You apparently failed somewhere because of your lack of intelligence. Once you catch on that it's a sales call all you have to do is ask them to leave your home if you aren't interest in the investment. And why would you take advantage of someones time to clean your carpet? Think! I have owned Kirby vacuums for over 15 years (two of them). They are fabulous!

Thank you so much for all of your comments! I'm usually say no to any sales at the door or free offers, but my brain check out on me. I least I wasn't compeletly dumb, so while I was waiting I googled this company and found nothing, then I googled their number and all of your comments came up. Thanks to you I will not even open my door when they come around.

I just had the Kirby girls stop by my house. Same steps as usual. The sales rep was very professional and nice. She vacuumed and shampooed the whole room and then tried to convince me to buy a vacuum for about an hour.

If I weren't comfortable totally alienating people, she might have been effective at getting me to buy a vacuum today. She wasn't mean or high pressured but she was a very good sales person. I had to make myself very uncomfortable to finally say NO WAY but at least I have a beautifully cleaned carpet.

I do like how she just stared at me and smiled while I was saying no. I rambled in response to her questions for about 35 minutes about why I didn't want one. I finally said after she dropped the price down to $900 for the vacuum and shampoo kit that I didn't care if the $500 vacuums didn't work, there was no way I would buy this vacuum today for $1000.

Then, she called "the boss" and tried to find a used one for me to buy. Yeah right!!

By the way, I no longer feel uncomfortable and my room looks great!!!!

We just had one come to the door and waste 4 hours of our first saturday night without our kids in months! We had just sat down to watch a movie, and we got the knock at the door. After hours of watching them suck the extra dirt out of our carpets, couch, bed, etc, the sales pitch began, with two more salesmen showing up, a total of 3! It started out as $2499.99, then went down to $1999.99, we said no to that, it suddenly went down to $1499.99 and the big shot said our salesman would have to make no commission at that price (yeah right) He went on and on telling us how we could not live without a kirby, and how much money we will save on not going to the doctors (we NEVER go to the doctors) I told him due to the economy, this is NOT the time to be charging up expensive vacuum cleaners, and he YELLED at me and told me NOT to call "her" a vacuum cleaner, "she's" a KIRBY he explained. I finally had had it, I yelled back at him and told him we just had to scrape up alot of money to bury a 13 year old this year, and we are NOT in a position to be buying this thing, and that enough was enough, and that he had crossed the line and upset me, now get OUT of my house! With attitudes, they all packed up their stupid kirby, and I told them years ago people lived in houses with dirt floors, and lived quite nicely, so their high pressure sales tactics telling people they will get sick if they dont buy one of these is just sick in itself! Beware of the kirby salesmen, they will not leave you alone until you get RUDE with them!

This happened to me the other night. They pounded on the door and I thought it was an emergency. They held open the door and came in for three and a half hours. My house is very small and clean and has two rooms of carpet. The guy was so manic and fast, I was blindsided at every chance I had to get rid of him.
I noticed the only person who posted (with horrible spelling) is ONE OF THEM!
These people, four in all, were coming in and out like they owned the place. Every time I said no they told me I was choosing to live in filth. When they tried to take my Eureka as a trade in, I said no, and they packed up and left. I had to vacuum after they left, because it was a mess! They are scam artists, very slick and fast. I am not stupid, but these people have been doing this for decades and are very good. If I want a vacuum cleaner, I will go ou and buy one, not have some fake contract shoved down my throat. All the phone calls to Mr Ackerman were fake, too. Even if you have three days to undo a contract, why sign it to begin with? I think Dyson makes a nice vacuum.
Toward the end, I decided to play their game right back and filled out the credit app with made up name, etc. I'm not rude, which is why this happened.

Hey, me and my husband bought a Kirby Sentria vacuum a couple months ago, and I feel like a complete idiot. We are paying for a $2,200 vacuum cleaner and can't even give it back since they took our $500 Dyson and my cheaper model vacuum. They claimed they gave the vacuums to women's government housing or something so less fortunate women could clean their homes.
They stayed for hours, even though I never had a women at my door like some described. I had 3 men, and then they left to get the cleaner, and came back with only one man who refused to leave. He's was generally nice, but very persistent and then talked about how he sold a vacuum cleaner to a drug dealer since it can seperate your pot! The salesman kept coming back and making phone calls to try and agree on a price.
Don't get me wrong, the vacuum works great, but for 2,200 I could have put that money into my kids college fund!(and since I've missed some payments my credit is now very low and they keep harrasing us about the money) Unless you're just looking for something to blow your money on don't buy this vacuum. They guilt tripped us into it by saying that since my son has allergies that my vacuum could be doing that to him and this would ultimately fix the problem.
