Everybody has different ideas to improve communities. Less is more in most situations because we have too many restrictions and permit issues now. With the housing market in the tank and no equity to retire or refinance, the population needs more freedom, not less. A restricted community is fine if it isn't too restricted. HOAs, rules and restrictions can make or break an area. Most of us will loose 100K or more if we have to sell suddenly. That is a brand new sports car or boat. None of us have the net worth we had in 2007 and probably won't live long enough to break even. Focus on trash, weeds, flowers and fresh paint. Please walk softly.
