Ive known Ben a long time..no one is perfect, but Ben is a decent guy. Im sure this is some skank that is pissed cause she isnt with him. Or some slut that tried to get with him and got shot down. Starting a forum about someone on Topix really shows what an immature piece of sh it some people really are.

To the people taking up for him I appreciate it. Nobody is perfect but I love him and stupid lies on topix will never change that.

I will admit that I once wore a wife-beater, but it was Halloween, I was a little buzzed on Nyquil and Spumoni, and who among us haven't had moments of regrettable fashion decisions?

I will admit to cheating on my wife, but only at Monopoly. In my defense she was violating the command against usury stated clearly in Ezekiel 18:17. I would never cheat on her with another woman because marriage is a non-stop cornucopia of mutually satisfying sexual delight.

Let's say theoretically I did, in a moment of obdurate libidinous frenzy, engage in a session of sweaty, messy intercourse with a person or group of people who were not my wife. Let us also posit, in this purely hypothetical scenario, that there were awful, primal, animalistic sounds being made during this encounter, so disturbing and of such horrendous volume that people in neighboring motel suites were compelled to contact both the sheriff and ASPCA. In such a scene one can only imagine that when the aforementioned authorities arrived and battered in the door, the incredulous diorama of filth and depravity in front of them would cause rugged, burly men to openly weep and gnash their teeth at the visage of such unholy sensual carnage. If I, Ben Underhill, could be said to have engaged in such an affair, then I could only hang my head, arms limp at my side in a display of guilt and shame, surrendering to the rightful scorn and contempt of my peers. But it more than likely didn't happen.

My main complaint about this thread is not the vile and insidious attempt at character assassination directed towards me, although I will admit it has caused me some small amount of woe. What upsets me is the thought of some vile troglodyte, so bereft of self-worth that the only way to achieve a momentary sense of fulfillment is through attacking a perfectly innocent stranger. Anonymously. Online. To this individual I would plea with a vigorous urgency, please cease your childish tantrums. You resemble more than anything a monkey flinging it's own excrement. You're an artless waste of vital resources. Worse, you're only reinforcing the cliché of the good people of Kentucky as inbred, ignorant, knuckle dragging simpletons.

The good news is, it's never too late to change your behavior. There is a rich, vast world outside and I encourage you to explore and embrace it. But even without changing very much you can create a life worth living, even if it seems impossible to you at this moment.

Start with the simple things. Let everyone in your life know how much they mean to you. Give them a long warm bear-hug. Pet a kitten. Go for a camping trip. Find a nice pond or lake and go skinny-dipping. Cook a meal from another culture. Learn a new skill. If you're in a relationship, re-commit yourself to that person and reawaken the passion that you once felt, make every day a honeymoon. Donate money to buy villagers a goat or a water well. Visit some kids at the cancer ward. Buy a chinchilla and teach it to Dougie.

Whatever you do, please don't continue down this hateful path that your life has become with this internet bullying nonsense. You're better than that. Your parents didn't invest their money in cello lessons and braces for you to become this monster. I believe in you. I think everyone here wants you to have everything you've ever dreamed of and so much more. I want you to know that I'm giving you a telepathic foot rub as I type this. I'm sending out a long-distance Reiki session and it's aimed at your heart chakra.

Abandon the dark side. Forget about all the people who bullied you in school because you were too fat or too short or had a NKOTB lunch pail. Forget about all the bitter disappointment and embarrassment you've caused your friends and family. That's all in the recent past and no longer exists. It's never too late to start over.

I want you to know it gets better.

Love,
Ben

Ben, I'm sorry you feel that way. I was just trying to clear our good name and perhaps appeal to the better part of human nature. We still live in a country where innocence is assumed until proven guilty. The fact that any sub-human with enough brain function to operate a keyboard can log on and throw around random and unsubstantiated accusations is both a testament to our free and open society and a curse to those of us who still operate with a modicum of decency and respect towards our fellow citizens. In some societies the original poster would be banished to wander the rest of their life in isolated desperate contemplation of their meaningless existence.

While I am not you, I know the sting of being wrongfully accused. It is a plague whose grief cannot be quelled, no matter how much peyote and tequila you try to mask it with. It is enough to know in your heart that you are a noble man and desire nothing more than to love those around you and lift the hearts of everyone you come into contact with.

I think we have all learned from this conversation. I trust we're all aware that humanity must rise above our petty differences and confront the overwhelming challenges of our current situation. I'm referring not just to the impending extinction level event staring at us from Fukushima. We must revive our very human nature. I don't know how we'll do this, but I'm open to suggestions. I know we can start by being civil to each other both in person and online. We definitely need to cut back on anonymous accusations of wife beating and infidelity. Start there, then move on. Baby steps.

Ben, I wish you many years of happiness in your marriage. Love is the only thing of value, and we need to respect and cultivate it.

Maybe I took your post the wrong way. And I apologize if I did. But I thought this was long gone and was just told it was back again and I was upset. People that know me know the truth and that's all that matters to me.
