I'm tired of being told that I have to "spread the wealth" to people who don't have my work ethic. I'm tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it.

I'm tired of being told that Islam is a "Religion of Peace," when every day I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family "honour"; of Muslims rioting over some slight offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren't "believers"; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning teenage rape victims to death for "adultery"; of Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur'an and Shari'a law tells them to. I'm tired of being told that out of "tolerance for other cultures" we must let Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries use our oil money to fund mosques and mandrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in Australia, New Zealand, UK, America and Canada, while no one from these countries are allowed to fund a church, synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia or any other Arab country to teach love and tolerance.

I'm tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global warming, which no one is allowed to debate.

I'm tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant germ rush out of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up their noses or stick a needle in their arm while they tried to fight it off?

I'm tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of all parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting caught. I'm tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.

I'm really tired of people who don't take responsibility for their lives and actions I'm tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination or big-whatever for their problems.

I'm also tired and fed up with seeing young men and women in their teens and early 20's bedeck themselves in tattoos and face studs, thereby making themselves un-employable and claiming money from the Government.

Yes, I'm damn tired. But I'm also glad to be 76.. Because, mostly, I'm not going to have to see the world these people are making. I'm just sorry for my granddaughter and her children. Thank God I'm on the way out and not on the way in.

There is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!

So, what you're trying to say is that you're tired?

Cool story, bro.

I agree with Joe American. I too am sick and tired of the fact that this society has totally left God out of everything. We live now in a sinful, non caring world full of people with no morals whatsoever. The evil will continue because I am convinced that we are living in the last days spoken of in The Bible. But sadly people do not want to hear this at all.But remember: all of us have been forewarned:there is a heaven and a hell and unless we confess our wrongdoing it is easy to see where we will end up for eternity. I am a senior citizen too and am almost glad I won't have to live to see much more of this nonsense!

When exactly were we this non-sinful, caring world again? Was it back in the Leave It To Beaver 50s when black people had to go to different schools and use different bathrooms? The Reagan era?

People have been saying "we're living in the end times..." since the death of "jesus." Even "jesus" himself said that "the end time" would happen during the lifetimes of his contemporaries. Hasn't happened yet, has it? Living with that kind of fear hanging over your head makes you look intellectually lazy, and disingenuous. The sky isn't going to open and drop lava on us,, the gates of hell aren't going to open and torch everything in sight.. Because neither place actually exists. The only "prophesies" that ever come to fruition are the result of self fulfillment, by man. Also, you don't need "god" to be a moral person. Morality existed long before religion came along and poisoned everything. Ever read Socrates, or Plato? Probably not, but they wrote about morality some 500 years before Christianity was even a thought. And philosophers before them did so, too. I don't believe in a "god" or "gods." I don't steal. I don't rape. I don't commit acts of adultery. And I don't need an ancient, out of date, misogynistic, Bronze Age text, written by men who endorsed slavery as my guide for life. I, and people like me, do good for the sake of good. Not because it makes us feel good, or the possibility of reward. The "reward" comes from within, and moves outward. Which is obviously a concept that eludes you. Try it sometime.

Why is it that it's always the religious types who have such a sour outlook on nearly everything? Always bitter. Always refusing to be a part of the solution, while ardently, and proudly, boasting how everyone else is the "problem." You love to whine about people who receive assistance, rendering them as no more than dead weight, but your "religion" demands that you help people less fortunate than you. Even if you have nothing to give, other than yourself, it is demanded that you help them. Go volunteer at a food pantry one afternoon and make eye contact with these "low-life's" that you so easily mock, and even hate. it's through the jaded prism of your religious sanctimony, racism, and outright bigotry, that you somehow find a way to rationalize all of it. Has it ever occurred to you that most people who receive assistance have jobs? In some cases they have two, even three jobs to help make ends meet. How is a single mother supposed to pay for child care while working two, or three jobs, making a paltry $7.25 an hour, with rents skyrocketing, gas prices soaring and food prices that are off of the charts? And you want to piss and moan about someone being on the receiving end of a small amount of government assistance, and in the same breath, blame it on "god" being removed from our schools? Seriously? How "christ-like" of you. The real problem is that people like yourselves suck at being human beings. Oh, yeah, you may go to church on Wednesday's and Sunday's. You get your warm and fuzzy "good news," you tithe your 10% to keep your failing houses of self-worship afloat, and before you even leave the parking lot, you're whining about the "Kenyan, socialist, atheist" who's wanting to take the AR-15 that you like to sleep with under your pillow. Your priorities are seriously fkd up. And I mean, SERIOUSLY.

Do you even hear yourselves? I know I hear you. Loud and clear. And I couldn't be any happier, distancing myself from as far away from you as is physically possible. Your religiously acquired, malignant narcissism is a mental illness. And the the fact that people who are leaving your churches, in droves, can't happen fast enough. As soon as it's complete, and the last lock is put on the doors, only then will we be able to get on with the business of being true human beings to one another. Until then, keep chugging that poison, vipers. You obviously love basking in your misery. And you want, even demand, that everyone else to join in on the action. Yeah, no thanks.

I mean this, sincerely: You suck.

Having blacks separated was a good thing. Look at how much more crime and poverty we have now that they have been let loose. Most black children are born out of wedlock and don't even know their fathers. Most crime is committed by blacks and Mexicans. Chicago has a murder epidemic and it's all apes shooting each other. Maybe you call is prejudice but those are the facts.

Actually the poverty rate in the 1950's was over 22%, about 7 percentage points higher than in 2010.

So you are suggesting that we will have a non-sinful, caring world if only we turn back to Segregation?

There is a higher number of white people that commit crimes and if you followed the "Weapons" thread about crime in Chicago apparently it is the number and not the rate that is more important. Just ask Bob and the countless ignuts who tried to convince me of that "fact".

In all fairness, Holy Babble didn't have the xenophobic and bigoted rant about Islam three sentences in to hook the reader.
