Or the David Griffin complex. After all, that's who's money paid for it.

Given all the companies he "manages" I can see 250 employees.
College Book Renter
South Eastern Book
Bookoodles
Integrated Computer Solutions
CAJ Management
Vintage Rose
University Book & Bean
Elements (he's a partner)
Innovative Printing
Cabling Concepts
Some of those have 50 or more, some have 5-10. But those numbers add up.
several of those companies have only one employee. At most 100 total. And who knows who is his partners in other " businesses"

Chuck was a fat boy who had to bring candy to school to get others to play with him...now that he is older... It took more than candy... And that's what got him. Its all my fault....

Look, I don't know Jones but all you have to do is take one look at his "companies" to figure out most were not highly profitable business. In the small business world you make your money when you sell not when you buy. SEB and ICS might be the two somewhat viable companies he now owns but neither would generate the cash flow necessary to sustain his alleged lifestyle.

Chuck sold 50% of the company owned by Stuart Bain from East Prairie to David Griffin in late summer 2008. Stuart did not like the expansion ideas and had been one of Chucks teachers in HS. Mr Bain also has a car business and other investments. He got Chuck started in business and leveraged everything he had as they expanded. Chcuk kept telling him how well things were going, but he wanted out. Chuck was most likely on the verge of collapse when he founf Mr. Griffin. Business ponzi schemes are similar, but there are viable assets which Mr. Griffin intends to take over to salvage part of his 30-40 million. We saw it coming on this side of the river for many years. Who sells 50% of a company for 2 million only 3 years ago and all of a sudden is worht tens of millions. It was a scheme!

Well West KY Star gave it a mention but WPSD and The Paducah Sun (both owned by Paxton Media Group) are still ignoring it.

Dumb question. Anyone can request to have it pulled. Could have been Chuck Jones himself. Who would want there business aired?

I'm sure chuck jones had one of his attorneys send an email or letter to them to stop the "madness". Like the guy or not, if you have something to say have the balls to use your real name. I have been the target of.these rants, having been accused of everything from dealing drugs to mafia connection. Really?? My personal dealings with Chuck Jones were less than positive but as for anyone else gloating over the suffering of others that's fair game if, and only if, you do it with integrity. Or how bout this... Just use the screen name "Petty Gossiping Piece of Shit With a Free Smart Phone" At least we can all file your dribble under "Blah,Blah,Blah"

I thought the 50% he sold was Harold Shoemaker a Murray Man for 2 million. And is it true they were using a government program called ERate to screw the schools there?

Judy, let me tell you why people are piling on. In plain and simple language CAJ is a bully and a total jerk of a person. Any charity he has provided is calculated and without even a hint of humility. My God, the man gave children cheap books that would otherwise be thrown away but made damned sure each copy had his name inside the cover as the giver.

Guilty or innocent (and I suspect I know which will prevail) the man is a complete anal fissure.
Whatever! He payed for a women in Murray to go to Walt Disney world with her family because she was sick and here you go running your mouth. He didn't say he was the giver.. A employee did. So really.. zip your LIP!
