I will tripple that bet. Chick Fil A is NOT coming to Murray... they didn't get approved. And just as the romours got spread about that, so are the Dunkin Donuts. We will not be getting a Dunkin Donuts ANY TIME soon in the next decade or so. Unless for some reason, the city of Murray suddenly becomes the size of Nashville, then yes. But until then NO.

The point is that people can be so passionate about how others live their lives but are apathetic to problems in society that actually destroy lives. We get so worked up over cleavage when families a few towns over are living in tents.

Dickson, TN has a Dunkin Donuts. That town has less people than Murray, so it could happen. However, I will also have to believe it when I see it.

Actually not all of the products are the same. Many of the household/electronics/garden/c lothing etc products are cheaper products. Compare model numbers and you will find out. Meat is pre-packaged gassed meat, produce is shipped in from far distances, clothing is made cheaper and with flimsier fabrics.......etc, etc, etc. If you think you are getting the same products at Wal-mart that you do at other places you are sadly mislead. They have been town much longer than 15 years and yes there prices have increased.
Not just walmart, My Broe got a stove at Lowe's had a L at the start of the model # he went threw 3 of them in less then a month (dif, prob, each time) He got his money back went to Murray appliance got a stove that looked the same,(with out the L in the model number) 3 months now no prob, As they say you get what you pay for...

Ok i see some are saying murray is getting these places,Chick-Fil-A or a Dunkin Donuts. We are however still getting a Red Lobster, Fazolis, Olive Garden, Logans Roadhouse, Longhorn Steakhouse, Little caesars, buffalo wild wings, hooters, tgi Fridays, raffertys, o charleys, and ruby Tuesday.
I grew up in Murray and at one time we had a little Caesars they didn't last the first time around and wouldn't last again. As far as the rest of the places we have them where i live now and some are not so bad, prices are pretty high in some of the places. The best way to know for sure what is coming to Murray is to go online to the websites of these restaurants they all have a list of where they plan on opening up and in what city and when.

The people that added the other restaurants are teasing the person that started this thread about Dunkin Donuts coming to town. Occasionally you will hear rumors of some of the other restaurants (like Chick-fil-a and Fazoli's) but they never pan out.
