I thought god was about loving and forgiving. Also i thought thou shalt not judge...
You don't even care that you are feeding a fire for hate. People like you are the problem with Murray. It's always been good to me even though I am homosexual, but it's got a lot of mean people hiding their cruel intentions under the guise that it's what God would want. Ignorant, scared, angry, whatever the reason, you make gay youths feel horrid, disgusting, and terrified. Yet they know nothings wrong with them, but people slinging quotes from a dusty old book make them feel so weak. You are not a good Christian, you are a good terrorist.

Good conservative values are nothing to be ashamed of.
I agree, using this mantra as a vehicle for hate can allow extremist ideals and actions to find their root. Eschewing reason for faith can be a slippery slope, one best tread carefully and with due consideration.

When you say Bible I assume you mean the King James edition. So you're putting you're faith in a book that is a version of the Bible cooked up by a crossdressing bisexual monarch of Europe who didn't even live in ancient times?

I agree... We gotta watch these gays. Next thing you know they'll be wanting to shoot our kids up with the gay virus and float em to Cuba on a raft made out of Michael Moore.

look, go easy on these gays. all they want is the same rights as everyone else. we all know that a gay man is just a woman in disguise who wants to get pregnant so he can secretly get an abortion like so many of the supposedly upstanding members of our community probably have.

wait... is it gays in parade or gays on parade? cause if they're on parade i imagine taking small children would be the thing to do. there'd be lots of color and movement and it would hold their attention

Gay youth should be ashamed of such unnatural acts and feelings. I hope they all die of AIDS.

I thought it was straight people in support of gay rights. But, as a Christian, I believe gays should have the same rights, should be allowed to marry and they are born gay...while the bible does teach it is a sin... I believe God will forgive just as he does me minute by minute each day. But, people are not God, people lack the authority of God. Let Jesus deal with sin, Man has not the capability to love that deep or the authority to judge.

How could a Christian stand by and allow the desecration of one of God's most sacred institutions?

Desecration of a sacred institution? How any straight person at all can say that gay people are wanting to desecrate the sacred institution of marriage is beyond me. Even though I'm sure it exists, I've never personally heard of a married gay couple getting divorced, but right now I know I'm within one hundred yards of someone who's been divorced. Seems to me the real desecration to marriage is being carried on by the straights who can't keep their pants on long enough to maintain a long lasting marriage. I say you worry about straightening out the home team first before you go poking around in everyone else's business. If you don't like gay marriage, then the answer to your problem is simple: Don't marry a gay person.

Straights and a 54% divorce rate already took care of that.

Your kids aren't going to be gay because the see a rainbow flag in a parade. If your kids decide they are gay after the parade guess what. They were already gay and they finally saw that it wasn't a big deal. To deny them that would be to sentence your children to an unfulfilling sad sad life. Would you really want that just because the idea of two dudes getting naked makes you feel icky? If so, grow up. You are a selfish person and you obviously care more for your own piece of mind than you children's happiness.

If you say no to gays being in the parade, then they have the same right to say no to church groups and Nativity scenes in the Christmas parade. We DO NOT live in a perfect world and guess what, NONE of us are perfect. On the flip side - I do not agree with the gay life style, however I do believe they are humans and have family members and dear friends that have chosen this life. It is not an easy life for them, however those of you that claim to be "christians" need to realize that your hating is not christian behavior. Why would anyone want to follow your hatred lifestyle? Live and let live folks.
