For those who don't know, when you post something on Topix (or any other web page for that matter) and you put a "fake name", that doesn't mean that you are in the clear. Your post can be easily followed back to your phone, computer, ect. There for be careful of what you say on the live web....

Yeah it's easy enough... if you can show probably cause of a serious enough crime having been committed, and then get a court to issue a subpoena to your ISP, Topix, all intermediaries, and a search warrant for all computer and phone equipment in an individual's possession.

Totally doable, especially when someone calls you a fuckhead on Topix. LOL
