Never hurts to ask. She still might know where to start.
I have asked her, and she isn't really sure where to start with something like this. I will however, probably work with her some with the women getting out of jail and prison once the New Beginning Home opens. Fortunately I did pretty well after I got out, but some women aren't so lucky. That's not to say it was easy. I had a problem with finding a job for the first year I was out. People seen my name and pretty much turned me away without looking at the rest of the application. Once I did get a job though, it was much easier afterward. I have worked at a couple daycares, Taco John's, and a gas station. I now work for Briggs. I have two wonderful kids. I was married, but that didn't turn out so well. Another life lesson learned. Some women when they get out have no family or home to go to. They don't know where to start in picking up the pieces of their lives. I would like to be able to help them get themselves back together and become productive members of society. But like I said before, I would really like to help teens and try to prevent them from ending up in the situation I did.

You could call Danny Hudspeth (mayors office). Rodney Bohanon or Darrell Gibson(Hardin) can help point you in the right direction too. Danny gets the funding for the Murray Youth center. They have bands every week or so and speakers. You could talk. You are still young enough that some might listen. There are Christian Kids, Emo, Goth etc that go there.

If you decide to do some talking dont leave out the spiritual aspect. Doesnt matter if they think you are crazy or not. You are lucky, you probably gained enough experience to discern spirits behind things. Some of them kids wont be that lucky.

I just found out that I have crabs today. I think that might be the reason that I have had such a bad attitude on here. Everyone please accept my apologies. My homosexuality has caught up with me.

That's great. I'm proud of, and happy for you. I was referring to the NB meetings they talk about in the paper...you could speak there, too. I'm hoping that home they build becomes a blessing for many women.

Sum ppl aftr going through what you have gone through hold assemblies at surrounding schools and tlk to the student bodies as a whole. And then do individual meetings with teens tht ask for the time. Sum evn go national with public speaking events. If you really want to get your story known you could write a bok chronicling your life before, the events tht occurred, the time you served in jail, and your life now. Your an inspiration to many, the way you have turned your life around. I would read a book about it. It may seem hard but if you talk to the right people, get in contact with book publishing company's it could happen. You wouldn't be the one writing the book, I mean you would but someone would be there to help you and guide you on how to write it....

Have you thought about writing a book and telling your story? I'm sure there are plenty of people who would like to read it. I know I would!

since you know the real story so well. I love how people assume everything they hear on the news is 100% accurate. Maybe you should get all the facts before you try to damn someone to hell. FYI I'm not rotting in hell.

LOL!!
Speaking of salad tossing in prison, I'm pretty sure that li'l Rod "Patty Wack" Ferrell (all 165lbs. & 5'11" of him) is busier than the salad bar at Ryan's on Sunday afternoon.

Heather wasn't his ex. Her best friend Jeanine was his ex, and from what he said in court documents, Jeanine was supposed to have gone too. I remember being upset that he still talked to Jeanine but didn't think anything would come of it.

I can't write a book about it. There is a law against that. I haven't had a problem telling anyone who asks about it, but as far as actually putting it in print, I can't do that.

Dana worked for me at Wendy's shortly before this happened. She was a sweet, fairly quiet girl who worked hard.

Some are succeptible to influence, like the Manson family.

That being said, I never understood why Charity and Dana, etc got prison time. They were not even in the room when Rod killed those people. There comesa time when your leader does something yet out of fear you keep your mouth shut.

Charity, I wish you the best.

Be well.
