New shop serves doughnuts, breakfast in Murray

We have ate their several times and they are delicious! Very fresh. Everything we have tried is the best we have had in Murray. Glad they are here. Very friendly service. Also, it is very clean and fresh.

Grumpy2: Where's your proof? I think your problem is that you're expecting a hot donut. I agree, they would be better fresh out of the fryer..but they're not. They are trying to keep them fresh throughout the day by putting them into the cases, which are actually cooled to I'd say..around 55 degrees. They cook them early in the morning, and then cool them. The donuts that are on the shelves on the back wall are not as cool as the ones in the case.
Granted, they're not a big operation like Krispy Freakin' Kreme, but your suppositions are unfounded.

I was close enough to be able to watch the daily progress of setting up Murray Donuts. Saw when the electricians were wiring it for the fryer and then saw the cooking equipment go in before the wall was erected. Heck..not even like it was some "big secret/inside info" or there isn't a LARGE, UNOBSTRUCTED window in front. Everyone in the shopping center watched the same progression of events. As IF the smell of the donuts cooking during the day (especially early) isn't strong in the air too. Knocks you down all over the shopping center if you're outside.(Same way Los Portales and Jasmine do, especially during certain times of the day.)
