I heard thy have certain employees that take all off the time to have repeated surgeries, while they are off work they get paid workmans comp. I don't know how true it is, but I sure hope their not taking advantage of the system.
In order to draw workmans comp, it has to be a work related injury!!!....unless there playing the system...getting hurt off work and goin to work and saying they got hurt on the job....

I have heard they have one of the best Union stewards in the country there. Very respectful and fair. Is this true? Also he may be resigning because of health concerns.

I don't know why most people can't just simply get a simple dang response here. Some of u kill me. I work at Morningstar and love it and love the people there. A low turn over rate is an awesome thing. The pay is great, the jobs are easy and awesome, the people are great, including management. Everything about it is good. It is hard to get on there but just takes time. Nobody wants to quit for good reason. Just keep an updated app and once your in stay!! It's worth it. Good luck

I'm a previous "toy" worker and that was a rude remark... I went to college after Mattel let out, held a few jobs until they didn't satisfy me anymore and now have a wonderful job that I enjoy..not ALL Mattel employees are without jobs and still looking, we all did the best in what situation we were left in when they left the country and there were some good people that worked there! I personally loved my job at Mattel and would have been there and retired there had the opportunity been there for me to do so. One lesson I learned though is to never take anything for granted for we are never sure of what tomorrow holds.
