I think the expectations were so high and over blown that now that DD's is open no one can accept the fact that they can't live up to those expectations and now they can do nothing right.

So much for community support!!!

maybe DD should hire some people that are fast paced from a bigger city to keep up with all the high class people in this wonderful friendly southern little town that all the perfect people live in .........PLEASE if you want real food, coffee, service go somewhere that the people dont care about if your from north or south or "whos your daddy" somewhere that is more worried staying open and serving their community then gossiping about everyone else

Fidalgo Bay is pretty awful. I grew up on the West Coast and it still amazes me what passes as gourmet coffee around here.
Please move back there...the smell and the average intelligence locally will both improve.

hey granny, their is spelled "their", i before e except after c. Great rule of thumb, you must have been out washing your nickers when they taught that tidbit. No problem though, you just look stupid. Route 45, I agree, people from the west coast are good at one thing, producing beautiful women. They should keep to popping out fillies and stay out of the coffee business. As far as the person who thinks that southern people will ever forget the time treasured past, just drink your damn coffee. You dumb shit, topix is only about gossip. Do you think you are going to change the world by stating your opinion? Thats what everybody thinks on here. The truth of the matter is simple. Go get a cup of coffee, gulp that shit, go throw the empty cup in the dumpster behind angel's attic, watch them fight. The problem with this small town economy is principles. If they charged all those toothless scavengers two bucks to dig through a dumpster of everyone else's thrown away shit, they could pay to train the Dunkin Donuts employees to live up to the East Coast style. Hustle and bustle, to hell with hurricanes, gotta make that money.

Omg. It's simple if you like DD go there, if not, go to Sammons, or Fidalgo Bay, or Murray Donuts, the great thing about being an American, and living in the greatest country in the world, is that we have choices!:)

But is it too much to ask that someone take pride in and do their job correctly? And actually know something about the product that they are selling?

It would be really nice if all of you Dunkin Donut haters were sitting in a field and a gigantic condor flew over and shit on all of you. I like Dunkin Donuts and I am pretty sure that if it wasn't always so busy (like Fidalgo bay) each customer could have quality time spent with them. You could talk about your day, the weather, how you usually make coffee at home, etc. Its busy and confusing because there are so many idiots in there trying to figure out how to order donuts at a new place, which is comical I might add. Why don't you all start your own donut shop and call it "we do it your way", everyone seems to think that they know hoe a donut shop should run. Till then just shut the hell up and enjoy your donuts and coffee or bong beer for breakfast, either way you will have a great day. May every Dunkin Donuts hater have a smelly lump of coal in there stocking for being so rude!!

So we should be happy we got incorrect orders and consider it a privilege to get something other than what we paid for?

You should be happy you can breathe, people make mistakes. All the focus on them is cause they just showed up. How many times has somebody screwed up your order at another restaurant? All your life you idiot. If you want we can start a thread about some of the long time resident eating establishments in this town and discuss how over the ages they have screwed up orders. Come on you fool, no you shouldn't be happy. You should shut the hell up and learn that nothing in life is perfect. How many times have you taken stuff back to walmart? The very essence of human beings is having grand ideas about something then being let down when its not as amazing as they thought it would be. You know what is worth complaining about instead of Dunkin Donuts? How about the dumpster divers behind angel's attic? Thats a legitimate gripe. Next time you are unhappy with your order, go toss it in that dumpster and make one of those filthy beasts happy. I am sure they will gobble up whatever they find in there. Sorry Ted, life can't always be perfect for you, or me, or congress, or justice.

Damn, you must work there or own the place to plead for such tolerance of shitty service. Yes, nobody is perfect, yes, other restaurants screw up orders, but when people continuously complain about something being shitty there are the makings of an established pattern.

I expect when I custom order a hamburger half the time it will be screwed up. I expect when I order a BLT without mayo, half the time it will come back with mayo. I expect when I order a steak calzone from Baldy's half the time it will be a steak and cheese calzone. I guess I just have higher expectations of people slinging donuts and coffee. If they are rude while they do it, doublefuck them.
