There aren't any Vote Wet signs yet, but you can email John Crofton over in the MSU engineering department if you wanted one. They should be out soon. Or you can call Boone over at the Big Apple, he is trying to figure out how to corner the market on all the liquor licenses in this town if this thing passes, so I'm sure he'd be happy to buy you a sign.
There's a pie chart for that.

Impersonator. Don't like getting called out? Is your conscience bothering you, you sign-stealing Baptist?

All the dry signs you want to see, but not a effin wet sign anywhere.

Maybe they are afraid they will get kicked out of church, just like the dry leaguers tried to do over in Trigg County. Besides, the dry leaguer's will just steal them. The ends justifies the means in their eyes.

There were plenty in Aurora and they seemed to split by the Yes signs in front of businesses dependent on tourists and No signs in front of Churches and businesses who don't depend on tourists.

Hello everyone - this is FBC and I am going to open up probably 5 liquor stores in this town if I can. They will all be safe and family friendly and I will have free suckers for the kids when you bring them in. I will make sure that no one ever comes in my place and gives liquor to kids, because I am all powerful and can prevent people that buy my products from doing stupid stuff with it. I can personally promise you that there will be less crime in Murray after this city goes wet and you make me rich. I will use all of my newfound money to educate the poor Baptists on how awesome alcohol is.

Troll fail. Persons under 21 cannot enter a liquor store in Kentucky. Section 244.085(2).

Well, those folks can always drive to Trigg County or Paris, I suppose.

You could probably use a drink to loosen up your uptight personality, Todd. Perhaps a pie chart or graph is in order.

And trust me, Baptists are perfectly aware of how awesome alcohol is. They just figure if they have to drive 30 miles to buy it where no one can see them, everybody else should have to too.

First Baptist Church (FBC) of Murray is going to open 5 liquor stores?!?!? That's just amazing. I'm so glad to see that you guys have come to your senses and that you are now in favor of expanded sales in Murray, Kentucky. I know how all that silly dogma can hinder ones ability to be rational. All is forgiven. Congratulations on coming out of the closet, too. It's such a big step for you guys. Whew. For a second, I thought you guys were losing your $hit. This is the best news I've heard all day. I have some bad news for you, though. There won't be 5 liquor stores in Murray. Due to the size of our population, we'll probably only be able to have 2 true liquor stores, at the most. The rest will be beer in a couple of gas stations, Wal-Mart and Kroger will have to construct additional space to house their wine and liquor. FBC, can you do me a favor? Do you think you could sprinkle some of this new found sanity on some of those nutbags over at Memorial Baptist? They need it, desperately. This heat must be getting to them because I drove by there earlier and they were outside, rolling around in the grass like they were trippin' on something. Just looked really crazy. Or, is that just how the baptists roll? All overweight and bug eyed. It's like they were in a trance, or something. It was just creep. Anyway, yeah. Holler at them and see what's up. We need their closeted yes votes to help move Murray into the future.

-Thanks!:)

See 'bath salts' on the internet. I'll be generous and just let you pick whatever search engine you want.

While you're at it, go ahead and look up spray paint, gasoline, robotripping, morning glories, laxatives, diet pills, Sterno, nutmeg, freon, propane, and oven cleaner to name a few.

I'll wait here for your snappy reply on how those ought to be conTROLLed.

I have one question, If this package liquor sale does not pass, will this also take away the liquor by the drink that we have now? I really hope not because that would hurt Murray and I would miss my monthly margaritas.

.

Stock up on tequila my friend. There's not enough people to vote the wet vote in. There are tons on people by their one vote will put Murray off the map.

No longer will Murray continue to grow into a city if respect and brotherly love. Sad just sad.

But if people start waking up and think that this might not pass cause they won't vote it in then things will turn around.

When alcohol can't be sold in a particular area, all that does is force drinkers to drive further and put their money in another community, because they are going to drink regardless. AND - If they run out of booze at home after they're already drunk, then they'll be driving drunk across the dry area to get to stores where they can buy more booze.

Look at what liquor has done for cities like Fulton, Paducah, and Paris. We cannot expect to continue to grow in this town and compete for students and industry without having plenty of booze available. Plus without the bars we won't be able to get all the strip clubs in town that I know so many of the students are attracted to.

Todd is that loud mouth little bitch who's been trolling all of the wet/dry vote threads. He's one of the most sanctimonious d-bags on Murray, Topix. He really likes manipulating pie charts and bar graphs that he doesn't understand.

He's also one of those self-righteous "christians" that at one point in his life was in the party/drugs and alcohol "lifestyle" (whatever the f'k that is) and somehow stumbled into the lord. And since his life was spinning out of control until he found the lord, he now feels everyone needs to be on the same "journey" that got him to where he is, today.

Join him, he's awesome!!!

Here, check him out for yourself:
