We have all done things or not done things that we have regretted. A person should still be able to make a living when they work 40-50 hours a week and work hard, regardless of past mistakes.

What you think about someone you don't know has no effect on my financial position. Nor does your lack of belief in anything in my post. Any money is not everything. If you aren't happy, money does not help.

Define making a living. Food, water, and shelter can be attained at full time minimum wage.

I see people on welfare and food stamps that have cars, video game systems, big screen televisions, smart phones, and are fat. They need their benefits taken away.

In addition, "reproach" shouldn't be capitalized and there should be no end of sentence after "reproach."

I'm out of school also. That's why my grammar isn't on a fifth grade level.

Well ain't you something! I'm impressed!! NOT
I went to those big government inner city schools all you dems love so much so don't blame me. Maybe if my Mother who raised me by herself was able to chose the school I went to with a voucher instead of being told Big Government where I had to go it would have been different. Maybe not we will never know. But my kids went to privet schools and are way smarter book wise then I am. But they are still working in my stores because there degrees from college are useless if theres no one hiring. So weather I can spell or not is not relevant in the real world. I know how to make it on my own with my degree from the school of hard nocks! In short UP YOURS.

You see, you made some fairly basic grammar mistakes when you called someone else too stupid to argue with. If you aren't hip onto the definition of irony, you should check it out.

It's no sin to be ignorant. It is a sin to want to stay that way and be proud of it. My English skills are far from perfect, but I have never stopped trying to improve them. So far, it's been worth every bit of effort.

We all make typos. We all sometimes type "to" when we mean "too." It's no big deal when engaging in something as informal as this board. It is a big deal when you can't even express your thoughts in a coherent manner. Some of the stuff that is on these political threads makes you wonder how some people could possibly have enough knowledge to make an intelligent decision on who to vote for. It explains a lot.

I agree. I was sort of qualifying why I decided to point out the mistake that I did earlier. I actually almost never throw someone under the bus for grammar unless it is such a hinderance as to make someone unintelligible. Here though "Real Independent" called someone stupid and in the same breath made very basic grammar mistakes. Considering the context I saw it fit to point out his error.

Only in America, could the people who believe in balancing the budget and sticking by the country's Constitution be thought of as "extremists."

So if I believe in balancing the budget and sticking with the constitution and believe that the president is a muslim, socialist, Kenyan, firearm confiscating, egomaniac who is out to destroy the nation, I should not be considered an extremist?

I believe what he was saying is that hardly anybody considers "people who believe in balancing the budget and sticking by the country's Constitution be thought of as 'extremists.'". This is a strawman with no basis in reality.

Oh, I'm sure you could find some left wing kook that might say something like that, just as I could find some right wing kook who thinks all the black people need to swim back to Africa with a Jew under each arm.

Heck, I believe in balancing the budget, why would that be considered extreme by anybody?
