You know, it's extremely sad when anyone loses their job at any place for any reason. But after the dust settles (which is usually pretty quick) it's time to quit bitching and move on to something else. Hearing all these people on here talk about how they were laid off was heartbreaking-- the first few dozen posts. Now it's pathetic. Chuck Jones may have been the root cause of you losing your job, but Chuck Jones, Bud Byars, Mark Peebles nor anyone else is keeping you from getting a new one except you. Jobs are hard to come by these days but they are out there. It just depends on how hard you want one. You can either suck it up and flip burgers until something better comes along or you can sit on your ever expanding asses and bitch. In a world where someone as brainless as the Octomom can scrape two dollars together using nothing more than her own self I have a hard time having sympathy for anyone who whines that there's no one hiring. There's always money to be made (and I mean legally). It just depends on how bad you want it. If you all are so damn smart as you pretend to be you would realize that you can either change yourself or your circumstances. If you refuse to do either, shut the hell up. CA Jones isn't going to drop another check on you because you're staring in the rearview mirror. Maybe you should be thinking about you could start your own book company like he did, only in a way that doesn't end up like this. Or maybe, like I said, you should come down off your horse called pity, maybe take a job that isn't so great-- so in a few years when things are better you can look back and say "Yea, I scrubbed hardwood floors just so other coldhearted bitches could wear lipstick, but I'm not dead yet. Beautiful sonnet you wrote there! Very insightful, annalytical and inspiring...sort of. However, this is NOT about someone losing a seasonal call center job. This is ALL about someone STEALING from
kids trying to make it in college. Not everyone that goes to college is loaded with money. How many jobs and years of sacrifice did those kids parents make so they could go or how hard and years of dedication and hard studying did it take for thousands and I mean thousands of the kids to get a scholarship and now they get scammed by some insecure thief who wants to live large. These kids were crying when they called CBR with a problem with the wrong book. It wasnt that they ordered the wrong book, you idiot, they were DELIBERATELY SENT THE WRONG BOOK!!!Believe me these people that keep bitching on here would be hundreds of thousands, it would make the bird post and the lady stepped on the head post shrivel up and fade away. The only reason that hasnt happened is
Chuck and his organzied deception crew had a shell game that is nationwide and worldwide. The kids are too busy trying to catch up in the classes he screwed them in to be on the internet to know what a scam CBR was. Well I guess my response would be that Griffin was a ripped off investor and was not involved at all in the day to day operations.
Do you think he would steal from himself? Also McGraw-Hill Publishing has enough money to investigate the fake books. I suggest you read the lawsuit. It does not say anywhere that Griffin
did anything. Although I am pretty sure that you have already read

The Griffin v. Jones lawsuit from February has been settled; Chuck finally did what Griffin wanted from the beginning and handed over control of the companies. Two things have happened since then:

1) CBR (under new management) has filed a lawsuit in Calloway County against Chuck Jones for selling stolen CBR inventory under the guise of "Global Book Sellers" on Amazon.

2) Pearson Education and McGraw-Hill have filed a lawsuit in federal court against Chuck Jones and gang for setting up a textbook chop shop and deliberately selling international editions as US editions. Students were ripped off AND the publishers' copyrights were violated.
