I was skeptical and really *smh* when I heard about Hibachi King Buffet. I tried it and... guess what? It's better than August Moon.

And Happiness doesn't stand a chance. Today the panda bear was out holding a sign for $3.99 lunch buffets. You can't survive off that.

So Happiness is toast, and August Moon may be as well unless they respond with a better selection.

My husband & I tried Hibatchai King and thought it was really good. I like the way they have the grill set up. I can get yum yum noodles w/o paying a fortuane at ShoGun.

Happiness hasn't made money in years but the owner is loaded and keeps sinking money into it. Mark Roberts and his wife Lou are failing because they are rude to their customers and the food on the buffet is cold.

I don't think they're "loaded."

My wife and I went lastnight. August moon and Happiness are in big trouble! The food was above par.
Large selection, good quality, good value. We will be back!

Last time I went to Happiness I asked about sushi and was told in a rude manner with the (head bob and all)“Sushi aint Chinese!” LOL This from a place with fried chicken on the buffet !

Sushi isn't a Chinese dish, so whomever told you that was right. It's kind of different having fried chicken on the buffet than putting sushi on it. It's a Chinese-American buffet, not an all-world buffet. If you want sushi, then go to Jasmine or ShoGun...

Fried chicken is considered "Amercian," though. I'm not being "stuck up," and I doubt the worker was either. They're just simply telling you it isn't a Chinese dish (nor an American one.) Just because a customer wants something put on the buffet that isn't something they serve doesn't mean they should cater to them and do it.

Again, I doubt they had the attitude you described. A "head bob and all..." Yeah, doubt it.

Hibachi king was at best "generic". Having tasted "big city" hibachi style buffets, this place was just blah.

Happiness was better when they were at the court square, now they are chop suey!- literally

August Moon still has the best over-all flavor of an asian buffet.

Not saying Hibachi King is bad, its that i went there the first week and was not impressed. Their sauces have no flavor and are very bland.

Ill try them in a couple weeks again to see if its better. But hey, its Murray, people round here don't know what good asian food tastes like! haha!
