Let me reply for SPC, I know what he will say:
"Reagan was still climbing out of the mess that Jimmy Carter left him. Jimmy Carter was the worse president ever until Obama came along. How dare you imply Reagan was anything other than the greatest President, nay, the greatest human being who ever walked the earth (next to Jesus)."
You'll notice hat Reagan NEVER said, "I inhereted this mess from Jimmy Carter." When he was elected he simply rolled up his sleeves and proceeded to fix the mess. Not ONCE did he ever complain about it or blame it on anybody.

That makes for a real nice narrative and facebook status update. Too bad it's not true:

"The problems we inherited were far worse than most inside and out of government had expected; the recession was deeper than most inside and out of government had predicted. Curing those problems has taken more time and a higher toll than any of us wanted."

Confirmation that most conservatives think something is "liberal" or "liberally biased" just because they don't agree with it or it doesn't conform to their distorted view of reality.

I'd suggest you take this "false quote" up with those Birkenstock wearing, gay loving, porn watching, dope smoking liberals at...THE REAGAN LIBRARY.

So you want four more years of the failure we're getting from Obama. It's obvious Obama's running scared just because of the ads he's putting out.

<quoted text>They said the same thing about Reagan, but after he was elected everything started improving.
Reagan was so out of his mind the last 2 years he should never have been in office. Talk about a cover up. Nancy Reagan was so protective of him because they were scared to death people would find out. And as for Bush's role in this mess (basically cleaning up after his damn daddy) we are in, he wasnt even running the country! Dick was!!! He was controlling our resources while making his buddies more rich and more comfortable. Obama has made mistakes along the way however we will never truly know what he was capable of because the republicans have fought his progress every step of the way! I'm sorry but it's borderline treason when a political party will spend 4 years trying to take down the president, using our time and money might I add, instead of working together to solve the issues of this country!! Honestly I'm not particularly hyped about Obama as my candidate this year but I sure as hell am not going to vote for a Mitt Romney. Even the dumbest republican knows he will crash and burn unless you guys have a hell of a ringer for VP! I honestly think it's time for the boys to step down. Let's see a political fight between Hillary and Condi!!! Fresh perspectives, less ego, and as woman they are less likely to be manipulated by the powers that be!!!!

Romney is going to mop up the floor with Obama just like Reagan did to Carter in 1980 and to Mondale in 1984

It wasn't when I paid a bunch of taxes that I hid my return. Why won't Romney release his tax returns? Perhaps he didn't pay any. Release your tax returns Willard Mitt Romney, or whatever you called yourself when you were draft dodging and laying off workers! Let's see what a genius you are!
I dont think your invented isue is working, despite your cheerleaders in the media. I think you have a little too much msnbc inyour diet. All I want to know is how BHO got into all those fancy schools, as well as how he made friends with 1960's radical Bill Ayers. I realize of course that you can't answer these questions because you don't know. But good ol' Barack Hussein can!

Politics is no longer about progress or what's right. It is simply a pissing contest, and unfortunately, conservatives have proven themselves to be far more petty and polarized than their liberal counterparts. The political spectrum has moved so far to the right it is truly scary. By current standards Nixon would be run out of the republican party. His environmental stances alone would have been enough to label him a traitor to conservative principals. Never mind his healthcare plan that had the support to pass and was going to before watergate. The republican members of congress have had a target on obama's back since day one, blocking every stitch of legislation proposed by this administration based on the fact that they proposed it. I will be the first to admit that I am disappointed in the Obama administration, but because he has been willing to bend so far right on so many issues. Four years without addressing the clean water act a nd fracking for starters. Our government has been hijacked by right wing ideological wing nuts (for lack of a better term). Stop picking sides and look at the reality of the political wave of the last 20 years. Obama is no more socialist than Eisenhower or Nixon, and they were aloud to hold those stances as true conservatives during the cold war. how ignorant have the American people gotten that because news organizations, owned by giant corporations who stand to profit from a far right shift, project a media climate that woul encourage such a thing. Keep dancing monkeys.
