It is a flat out lie to say that Southerners are Stupid. Most of the Southern States are RED STATES. Southerners are WAY smarter.

The States which are in the worst shape are increasingly pathetic BLUE STATES where citizens elect Union thugs and aging Hippies who have ladled more Billions in DEBT on their kids than the other States.

No American could be stupider than the Blue State LOSERS who voted to screw their own kids out of a shot at a bright America future.

Part of the taxes that the people in the Blue states pay go to support the Red states. The Red states (with the exception of Texas) have never been able to support themselves. Not since the abolition of slavery anyway. You and Timmy just reinforce the title of this thread.

Dont let them fool you, the southern political arena (when not racist) is guilty of the same corruption and idiocy as any other politicians in this country, the problem isn't just with the south, but at least people in the other areas have realized they need to fight back against corruption and know where to start. Right, Mayor Greg Davis? Right, Ophelia or John Ford? The South needs to fix its proud ghetto-like, "I'm right and you just don't know how it really is down here" attitude because this place (again, I can only speak for my town) is in the stone age. Politically & especially in social behaviors (and education).

One of the reasons (at least that I've seen) that southerners can't support themselves is because they try to waste money on stupid school consolidations and other programs (for instance all of the assistance they give to families who just wanna keep spitting out kids and not pay in by cutting corners every chance they get, but hey let's reward you with a free place to live). I went to Colorado about the end of 2009 around Christmas time, I don't know a thing about Colorado's politics, but the people seemed like they got along a lot better than people here. When I went there I just felt the atmosphere of animosity dissappear, in my town you can just feel the tension in the air as you cannot walk down the street without someone picking a fight. Again I hate to focus a lot on the social aspects of living down here, but everyone is either on drugs or have no life goals, thus making them useless to society & non productive. The kids from broken homes (cause their momma wouldn't close her legs long enough to get an education) usually end up joining gangs or become homeless drug addicts(or if they're female they'll rip a page out of mommas book and get knocked up and let an abusive redneck *hypothetical* treat them like crap in exchange for a place to stay, then complain to others about how they have nothing instead of getting up the nerve to further your education and pull your own weight). Then the "haves" become embittered towards the "have nots" for not pulling their own weight and we become divided once more, it's like a split that forms in this region (and hell everywhere else in the world) over a few minor differences of opinion, then BAM someone ends up getting blown away over something small. Compare our precious human lives to any issue you can come up with in a political or social arena and it cannot compare. We all want the same thing right? To be happy and live the "American Dream" which our forefathers and our military fought and died for. We need to unite, not divide, and anyone who is not on that agenda is UNAMERICAN.

Please, if I am mistaken on any of these issues please call me on it, I love being educated by others who know more than me. I'm not perfect and I welcome someone to challenge any of the previous statements I made (preferably without a bigoted opinion, but come on its the Internet that's a lot to ask, plus bias and bigotry is not illegal, morally it's not agreeable, in my opinion; however, the system works for you and then against you sometimes). Basically everyone has some sort of bias.
