Sounds like idiot campus cops strike again, based on all the witnesses to this event the cops should have arrested him, not her. This will get tossed in court thankfully. She has many, as many as 20 witnesses who said they say the incident and the guy grabbed her breasts.

Once they go to court this will get tossed.

But the bigger issue just just how stupid the cops were in this.

Sorry but name calling and offensive language does not warrant assault. This student is a very bad representative of higher education. She should've known to walk away from an obviously emotionally charged situation. She escalated a verbal altercation to violence. I'm glad she was arrested.

As an honor student at MTSU I'd like to say that I'm pretty angry at my administrators tonight. Why would they give groups such as these who are known for prothesizing hate speech permission to be on our campus? We have people off all faiths (and non-faiths), all creeds, all nationalities who attend this state school. None should be harrassed as they walk to class as they were today. MTSU has a responsibility to keep students safe. I, for one, think someone owes the students an apology.

This demonstration on campus, from first hand experience, was nothing more than hate-mongering. One of the first things explained to students in a required campus orientation was that at a collage of this size, students would meet people of all background, race, ethnicity, and creed. Standing in a public venue venomously attacking passing students verbally is not acceptable. Students should be able to go about their business on campus without having to be harassed by sanctioned bigots.

The tactics these people employ when come onto college campuses belie a simple outreach to offer the words of the Bible and extend fellowship to others. Most people resent and resist anyone shouting at them. The student should not be the one facing court. I wouldn't want my daughter or granddaughter to be manhandled by anyone. Least of all a supposed evangelist!

What a joke and a slanted piece this was! I often wonder if there are any credible news reporters out there who don't have an agenda. You don't give me much hope. I was there and the girl is lying. Hmmm...what should I believe: an OBJECTIVE video of the event or the three people you interviewed who obviously had something against the preacher? Did you even bother to interview someone with a different viewpoint? There were many there!

Whatever happened to the separation of church and state? Last time I checked, this was a state university.

Seems pretty clear that the video showed this girl to be in the wrong. Video vs. a few people who were offended...hmmm...which is believeable?? As they say on ESPN "come on man!" I have checked and checked the Constitution, there is no right not to be offended. If someones exercise of the right of free speech offends you...walk away...if they harass physically call a cop.

Yes a state university owned by ALL the people even Christians. The freedom of speech doesn't end and the University's gates...even Chistians' freedom of speech

The separation of church and state is a myth. The second amendment says only that Congress may make no law respecting the establishment of a religion. It does not prohibit the states from establishing a religion. I'm ready for some states to challenge this mythical separation and start establishing Christianity as their official religions.

Read the article, no molestation took place, she pushed the podium over he was preaching from, natural instinct tells me when I get attacked to fight back no matter where my fist or hands are to get the attacker off of me! I will do what I must to protect myself and I assure you I will not care what it takes to get the attacker off of me.

So being 'offensive' is a valid reason to assault someone? Why didn't she just walk away like I do when I think someone is being offensive?

Some observations:
1. I'd take a video over "witnesses" any day. The camera doesn't lie.
2. The 1st amendment to the constitution guarantees freedom of speech to all, not just to whom you or I agree with. Learn to deal with it.
3. I'm sure some MTSU faculty members insult their students with their viewpoints as much or more than this guy did - and they do it with impunity and the protection of the institution. But we don't hear of assaults on them, do we?
4. I wouldn't brag about being an MTSU honor student if I couldn't spell correctly, or at least use spell check and a thesaurus.

I am sorry this is still a free country right now, but with your generation coming up I do not know how much longer it will last. I am soooo truly sorry you have to deal with everything we in the past have put before you. May God guide you through these troubled times we are in. Again I apologize for our nation, I amy even bow before you, or give you a complete dvd set!!!!!NOT

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Pisces

Are you feeling fraught? It certainly seems that way, perhaps because you've got far too much on your plate and not nearly enough time to tackle it all. Do yourself a big favor and start with whatever is most urgent, otherwise you'll waste time by dithering or getting caught up in trivial tasks. Above all, don't get into a panic because that will squander valuable time and energy.
