I was riding in a truck with my father that was owned by McCormick trucking that was contracted out through US mail. My dad fell asleep. He hit a block wall. I hit the window and my dad grabbed my foot to keep me from going all the way out. I am just wondering if US mail could have been sued. I have been told that I have one year after my 18th birthday to do anything about this. I am 17. I had head injury that left scares and no money to fix them. Now, I would like to have that done. Thank you. Any help is better than what I have now.

You want to sue the company that owned the vehicle your dad was driving when he fell asleep? I think your father is the only person to blame.

You want to she someone because your dad fell asleep ,That's what's wrong with this country . Oh yeah go ahead and sue and spend all that $ on attorney fees to see that you don't get shit because your dad is at fault. How about this go get a job like the rest of the world and stop looking for a free hand out

You actually can sue the insurance company that has the insurance on the truck you were in , your dad will prob get fired if you do it but it might still be worth it. Had a friend riding with me sue my insurance company after a wreck, he didn't sue me just my ins co
