I am so upset with TRX that Iím making it my duty to let as many people know and share my experience with others about a much better company and a much better situation so Iím posting this as many times as I can to get the word out.
I am an independent tax preparer that used TRX just like you, and through months of research, trial and error and by the grace of God I have finally found a software company that cares about their customers. Trust me I have done research on them all, drake, tax slayer, tax wise and countless others. Iím sure every one of you know these names. None of them compare with the company that I am using now. In my opinion this is by far the best professional tax software provider in existence bar none. They have an unbelievable customer service department which is very well trained and not once did I have to ask for a supervisor to resolve my problem. Every time I called they made me feel so relaxed and after a few calls I had total confidence that my problem would be resolved. TRX used to have me on hold yelling at the representative and begging for a supervisor. With this new company I was rarely on hold for more than two min even during the busy part of the season. And the software is amazingly user-friendly so the learning curve was virtually non-existent and the cost of the software is ridiculously low. I just wanted to update everyone and let them know that this crook Doug Hughes still has not paid any money to us for 2009 Svc Bureau fees that he robbed us of. He has financed his own business as well as other interest with our money. I personally want to make sure this thief goes to jail for his crimes as well as his employees as they have to be aware and are willing participants. I read everyday about more and more employees of Madoff that are going down now too. Doug Hughes = thief. He is a little, little, little man.

Check out Lighthousetaxsolutions.com . They are a great company with customer service second to none. In fact, their owner actively participates in technical support so he is always available. Finally, all the monies from the bank due the preparer goes directly to that preparer.

I am very upset also. I wasn't able to use my software. I called for a refund and was told that I couldn't get a refund on the software and this was in the time period that you could get a refund. This is to update everyone that Doug Hughes and TRX Alliance, Tax Refund XPress, LLC.
has still not paid the more than $40,000 owed to my company from the Service Bureau fees he stole. He has continued to operate his business and even started other businesses using money he took. Paying some of the people he stole from out of others money or money he got in the following years is still theft. Anyone that chooses to do business with him or this company needs to do so with the full understanding that he has lied many times about when payment would be sent and has still not paid money that has been owed for over two years.

I'm sorry you feel victim to this company, Just know that it was not an employee who stole the money it was the owner. They spend thier money like it's burning a hole in thier pockets.... Buying a huge house for only 2 people or just buying new cars, or toys. No one should have to deal with this. The only one filing suits are the people who worked there, and the ones who bought from them. Hope you moved on to a better place to do your business.

The Income Tax Returns filed through this program have all been wrong. IRS letters to deal with, complaints from clients, I had to pay what was owed to the IRS from the clients that received money they should not have. I have lost clients, money, time, and my reputation. I believe this has also cost me my business. In a small town things like this do not just go away. My rating for them is 100% HORRIBLE.

I bought their software and it had multiple software errors in the federal returns. They continued to lie about when the New York State would be done. Finaly I asked for a refund and went with another company. they would not refund my money. I had to redo 20 returns in order to efile the state. hours of wasted time. I am all for a class action suit. I was going to go to small claims but feel free to reach out.
