It's a good plan. It saves lots of taxpayer money. I support Mayor Grimm on this one. This is all about Unions which governments should never have.

Nice opinion and glad for your support, Mr. Streetsboro. But I thought this was pertaining to the city of Tallmadge?

What do unions have to do with it? It sounds to me more like its all about the safety of citizens and the officers serving them. It saves money, yes. What price would you put on your safety as a citizen though?

Confused, my IP says Uniontown, Ohio. I do not live there or work there. How do you know OldManGrump is only connected to Streetsboro and not other cities in the area?

To comment on the article though, if none of those girls lose their jobs, I think it's a good move for the city.

I stand corrected, now it says Mogadore, Ohio, which again, I neither live there or work there.

Dear Confused, What this is about is the union brothers trying to save someone a job. The safety of the citizens, while it may sound noble is not the truth. Most safety forces do not live in the town they work. That is just big City. Unions free they are guaranteed a job for as long as they want it. They feel they are guaranteed a raise each year. They free they are entitled to free or near free heathcare. Collective barginning is another area that is killing this State

Hey OldManGrump. I desperately need your help. I'm doing a project for my english teacher about the Tallmadge Levy. And I was wondering if I could ask you a couple of questions. I'm doing a research paper and I need both sides(Yes and No) on why they did or didnt vote for the Levy. I seen every blog there is and you sound like you know a lot about the levy. So PLEASE contact me at: [email protected]
I need to understand your side.
