The person that hit him was a 19 year old female. It was still dark out and she thought she hit a deer. Who would think a person would be walking along the median on an express way? No one in their right mind would walk on the left hand side any way.
And the meth comments? I had a really good friend that would do anything for any body. He was killed over meth. No one- close family or friends- knew he was into drugs. Anything is possible. Anything.
I believe this young womans story about her belief that she hit a deer. After hearing about this on the news I am sure she was horrified. She turned herself in. The main question still arises. What was this guy doing standing in the freeway? If he wasn't standing in the freeway, he would still be alive today. Right? Can't argue with that.

"ok one more time... the sheriff told all of us family members that were present that she admitted she knew she hit him not a deer.. she did stop and walked about half way across to look & she said she saw him- her boyfriend stopped behind her car and asked her what was wrong & there is where the lie about the deer started.. she told him come on lets go I just hit a deer. she told other people she hit a deer & on & on that was the story until after 3 hrs of questioning she finally admitted to knowing she hit a person & not a deer. she was scared & frightened what ever, but that fact remains she knew she hit him & left him there alone. If any of you would of seen the damage to the truck you would be asking yourself how in the world she then drove to the apartment to fetch the rest of their things with the windshield completely smashed with his imprint & not reported it. dont you have to have a police report to collect on insurance? It was an accident until she left, then it became a crime! we forgive the accident we dont forgive the leaving part no matter how scared she was. she didnt know what condition he was in & whether or not anything could of been done. & yes we know he was in the wrong to be on the expressway to start with, we dont know why or ever will probably because he can no longer tell us. this is tragic for both sides. thanks for the support!"

this was posted on a later story when they tracked down the girl...she did not turn herself in.......she probably wasnt even intending too

SO WRONG,
Do you have any clue as to why they have not yet released the drivers name?
I drive by the scene every day on my way to work and it's on my mind a lot! So sorry for your loss.
