patrica has changed and grew. her heart and mind was young at the time. we've all made mistakes some are just worst then others.just think.. some people get away with muder. she is much older and mature now and she likes to see people suceed. her time in dewight has been time growing, and life learning. she is no dummy.now she know what she did was wrong.i feel,if you say she should stay there and rot then your just as cold hearted as you make her out to be. i say FREE PATRICA COLUMBO. she is one of the voices in that cold place that is helping women to make better decions today. we live and learn FREE PATRICA COLUMBO.

No matter how changed of a person she is,Patricia Columbo needs to spend the rest of her life in prison. The fact that she gets to apply for parole after she has served less than a quarter of her sentence is ludricrous. If someone has to spend the rest of their lives behind bars for one murder, she should too, considering she murdered her whole family.

So she made a MISTAKE? Well, that was one hell of a MISTAKE. When the killing was over, what did she say?--- "Darn it, I just murdered my parents and little brother. Geez, what a mistake, I hate when that happens?"

She "likes to see people succeed" now? Well, her little brother will never know what its like to succeed OR fail.

"Now she knows what she did was wrong?" Yeah, I guess that was "wrong," wasn't it -- killing your Mom, Dad and little brother. Took her a while to figure that out though, huh?

What better place for Patrica to have an opportunity to work with troubled women than in prison? Let it be her life's calling.

I'm reading "Love's Blood" now and am really on the fence. No question that what she and hey boyfriend did was an atrocity and they should both stay in prison forever. On the other hand, based on info in the book, she dealt with a lot more than any kid should have to and that really screws-up a person. She may have been inclined toward this behavior because of it. Not saying it's not her fault, just saying that she may not have had as much of a "choice" as some of you say. In the end, yes, stay in prison forever as far as I'm concerned.

I was in prison with Trish when she first arrived. We worked together in the captains office and lived on C-10. We became friends and I didn't care about her crime at that time. We were attractive women and were treated better for that reason. She wore mini skirts and sat on the captains desk. She never showed remorse about what she done and talked about her dad as if he was still living. She was even bossy with her secretarial position the captain gave her. I witnessed her moving other inmates around on the chart on the wall and the captain spoiled her and done as she requested. He spoiled me too and other pretty inmates also. And I can honestly say she did not recruit other prisoners for sex. It's just that others were jealous of her because of the celebrity treatment she was getting. We even had pizza parties in the caps office. She could be friendly if she liked you and be cold to others. By the way, those women who blamed her for the sex scandal put out sex on their own. the captain was very careful NOT to have sex with those women but sure enjoyed the flirtations and loved looking at us if our robes accidently opened for him to get a peek. It was fun and he was kind of cool. I hope she will be alright and I hope she has a sincere relationship with God.

her parents were wonderful people. You have no idea. Warm, funny, loving, kind. They LOVED pat and were wonderful parents. She wasn't "neglected" or mistreated by her parents. If she was released, her remaining family memebers would have to live in fear for the rest of their lives. As it is, they have lived with a nightmare for 30 years. THEY are the ones that deserve some thought and pity and prayers.

For those who argue that Patty was young and that she's redeemed herself -did you know that while in prison she ran a prostitution ring w/several corrections officers who were eventually fired? How about the photos Patty flashed to her friends showing herself having sex w/a german shepard? These are only a few documented facts, patty was/is a full blown sociopath and should never be trusted in society. God only knows what's percolating in that dark, evil mind.
